3月31日，2020年第六届亚洲沙滩运动会（以下简称“亚沙会”）组委会对外正式发布了亚沙会吉祥物运动项目造型。亚沙会吉祥物“亚亚”化身为一名“全能运动员”，结合亚沙会17个竞赛大项，诠释时尚、环保、精彩、盛大的亚沙会理念，向世界发出热情邀约。
在当天发布的吉祥物运动项目造型中，“亚亚”与竞技运动定格在饱含视觉冲击力的瞬间，呈现出时尚活力的神韵。它时而全神贯注、英姿飒爽，时而悠然自得、神采飞扬，用灵动的双眸、热情的笑脸、充满活力的运动姿态，展现亚沙会积极进取、活力青春的竞技精神。
根据不同的项目特点，“亚亚”呈现的维度也全然不同。“造型设计不仅要体现亚亚亲切、可爱、灵动的形象，也要兼顾体育项目的速度、专业、力量等特质。”吉祥物运动项目造型设计团队负责人郑磊介绍，团队力求用最简洁、生动的形式呈现最佳效果。通过紧抓运动造型中的“决定性瞬间”，展现出运动项目的独特内涵和意义。
亚沙会组委会相关负责人称，吉祥物运动项目造型将作为赛会视觉体系的重要组成部分，被广泛运用于体育场馆、市场开发、形象景观工程建设等多种宣传推广场合。
亚沙会将于2020年11月28日至12月6日在三亚举行，这是海南首次举办洲际级综合运动会。据悉，亚奥理事会批复亚沙会竞赛大项17个，分项19个，小项93个。这17个竞赛大项分别是冲浪、沙滩足球、沙滩卡巴迪、武道（沙滩摔跤、柔术）、台克球、3x3篮球、龙舟、水上运动（公开水域游泳、水球）、沙滩木球、沙滩田径、游跑两项、帆船、攀岩、摩托艇、沙滩排球、沙滩手球、动力滑翔伞。
Sanya Unveils Mascots in Motion for the Sixth Asian Beach Games
On March 31, the Sixth Asian Beach Games Sanya 2020 (hereinafter shortened as the "ABG") Organising Committee announced the mascots in motion of the ABG. In these images, the mascot Yaya acts as an all-round athlete to play all the 17 sports, showing to the whole world a trendy, green, fantastic and magnificent ABG and extending warm invitations to people around the world.
Every image captures a nice gesture of our fashionable and energetic Yaya when doing a sport. Being attentive, robust, leisurely, and cheerful, Yaya embodies the enterprising, vigorous, and youthful sports spirit of ABG with its sparkling eyes, smiling face, and dynamic sports gestures.
Yaya is posed in different ways according to the features of the sports. "The images should present not only an amicable, lovely and lively Yaya, but also the characteristics of each sport in terms of speed, professionalism and strength." The design team for the mascots-in-motion endeavors to produce a stunning effect in a simple but vivid manner, said Zheng Lei, head of the design team. Each of the mascot images captures the “decisive moments” of every sport and showcases its special value and physical excellence.
As an important part of ABG's visual system, the mascots in motion will be widely promoted in occasions including sports venues, marketing activities, and landscape engineering projects, said the responsible person of the matter in ABGOC.
As the first-ever intercontinental multi-sport event to be staged in Hainan province, ABG will take place in Sanya from November 28 to December 6, 2020. It is reported that 17 sports including 19 events made of 93 sub-events, as approved by the OCA, are set for the Games. The 17 sports are Surfing, Beach Soccer, Beach Kabaddi, Martial Arts (Beach Wrestling and Jujitsu), Teqball, 3x3 Basketball, Dragon Boat, Aquatics (Open Water Swimming and Water Polo), Beach Woodball, Beach Athletics, Aquathlon, Sailing, Sport Climbing, Powerboat, Beach Volleyball, Beach Handball, and Powered Paragliding.
