惯用法讲解:这是一位顾客在餐馆点餐时与服务员的对话。
- May I take your order?现在可以点餐了吗?
order:a request for food or drinks in a restaurant, bar etc.点菜,它还可以表示“所点的饮食菜肴”the food or drinks that you ask for.如:a side order 配菜。
Last orders at the bar now please(because the bar is going to close)!本店(打烊前)最后一次点酒了!
order 除了表示“命令”外,还可以表示“订货;订购;订单”。如:
I would like to place an order for ten copies of this book.这本书我想订购10册。
The machine parts are still on order.
机器零件尚在订购之中。
These items can be made to order.
