《The Noisy Day!》吵闹的一天
有没有过这样的经历，突然有一天，你觉得全世界都在跟你做对。干什么都烦，看什么都不顺眼。当然，会觉得周围的人、事都吵得不行。有一点点声音，都会触动那条脆弱的神经。也许只是因为……前一天我没睡好。
It was quiet in Cat's bedroom, as she lay in bed asleep.
卡特在她的床上睡着了，她的卧室里很安静。
Then she heard her sisters SHOUTING! And her clock went BEEP BEEP BEEP!
突然她听到她的姐妹们在大吵大闹，然后她的闹铃就嘀嘀嘀地响了起来。
The trip to school was very NOISE! Cat's three sisters were so laud.
上学的路上一直特别吵。卡特的三个姐妹们一直特别大声的闹。
In the classroom it was NOISY! They were such a chatty crowd.
教室里面也筘的吵。他们这群人怎么这么健谈。
Cat pushed the button for some quiet, hiding in the hall at break.
卡特按下了手表上的安静按键，把自己的身体变得小小的。然后到大厅里面躲起来休息一会儿。
Suddenly the band came in and soon the floor began to shake.
突然乐队的人走了进来，然后卡特感觉到地动山摇，地板都在颤抖。
Cat ran away into the playground to find a quiet place to hide.
卡特跑到了球场上想找个安静的地方躲起来。
Noise boys were playing football with lots of players on each side.
吵闹的男孩子们在踢足球，一边还站着很多的球员。
Being tiny was a problem, loud noise hurt her little ears!
身体矮小是个大问题了，声音太大了以致于伤到了她的耳朵。
Once again, Cat pushed the button, but the bell was very near!
卡特再次按下了手表上的按键，但她离铃声太近了，振到了她的耳朵。
The car trip home was OH SO NOISE! With NOISE sisiters, one , two, three.
回家的路上车上依然很吵。有吵闹三姐妹，一号二号三号。
Dinner time was VERY NOISY! Cat went off to have a read.
晚饭时间依然不消停。卡特离开座位去看书了。
"Time for bed you girls," said Mother. Now Cat smiled and closed her door.
“该睡觉了姑娘们。”妈妈喊首。终于卡特微笑着关上了她的门。
At last the house was very quiet. Until Cat began to ...SNORE!
最后，房子里终于安静下来了，直到，卡特开始……打呼噜！
