古巴街道上的芭蕾舞者

On his recent trip to Cuba, photographer Omar Robles captured a series of remarkable snapshots of ballet dancers expressing their art throughout the nation's culture-filled streets.
在其最近的古巴之旅,摄影师奥马尔•罗伯斯拍摄了一组令人印象深刻的芭蕾舞者快照。在这个国家充满文化气息的街道上,舞者们尽情展示着自己的艺术。

Robles said visiting Cuba has been a lifelong dream. As he mentioned in his blog post, Cuban dancers are some of the best trained in the world, which is another reason he was eager to visit.
罗伯斯表示去古巴是他毕生的梦想。正如他在博客中提到的,古巴舞者是世界上训练最好的舞者之一——这也是他为什么渴望去古巴的又一原因。

While in Cuba, Robles was deeply inspired by the people he encountered, and learned a great deal about the dancers’ lives. In the country, artists are greatly respected and they respect themselves as well. These dancers are following their passions with great pride.
在古巴期间,罗伯斯表示他被自己所遇到的人深深触动,也了解到很多关于舞者的生活。在这个国家,艺术家受到人们的高度尊重,他们自己也自尊自爱。这些舞者骄傲地追求着自己的爱好。

彩绘模特变身野生动物

At first glance, these animal paintings just look like works of art on canvas. But by taking a closer look, you’ll find the models’ limbs are cleverly hidden in the background.
乍一看,这些动物绘画看上去就像是画布上的艺术作品,但仔细一瞧,你就会发现模特的四肢被巧妙地隐藏在了背景之中。

German artist Gesine Marwedel uses her unusual talent to transform human bodies into various different animals. The creative images include a turtle on the beach, a koala in a tree and a sleeping panda, etc.
德国艺术家杰斯奈•马韦德尔运用其非凡的才智将人体转换成了各种各样不同的动物。这些颇具创造性的作品包括沙滩上的海龟、树上的考拉以及打盹的小熊猫等。

Each intricate body painting can take from four hours to 12 hours to complete, but after a photoshoot, the paints on the models’ bodies will be washed away in minutes. Gesine says she loves people's reactions when they see the results.
创作一幅如此精细的人体彩绘画作,艺术家需要花上4到12个小时,但照片一拍好,模特身上的颜料就会马上被洗掉。杰斯奈说,她喜欢人们看到效果图时的反应。
