It is going to be a very long season for SPAL, who currently sits second from the bottom with five points, and after impressing in the first weeks achieving a draw with Lazio and defeating Udinese, they are currently in a seven matches winless run, losing six of them, scoring four and conceding 13.
They will visit for the first time in their history Juventus, a team struggling to dominate like in the previous years as they currently sit third in the table, three points behind Napoli. On the weekend they achieved an impressive triumph over Udinese, 2-6 and with 10 men for most of the match. They lost by surprise against Lazio the previous week and can’t afford to make any more errors, but with a squad used to play three games per week and with enough depth to rotate, they should be able to get rid of SPAL easily, a small team with a squad not used to big scenarios like this and to double fixtures week.
Inter and AC Milan scored two past SPAL, and Napoli three, and with Juventus being the top goal scorer in the Serie A (27 in nine matches), we expect them to get at least a 3-0 triumph here to put the pressure on Napoli and Inter.
