Why Play For a ClubFootball Team?
- For experienced players aged 6-18, ClubFootball's league teams train during the week and play matches on Sundays in Beijing's Junior International Football Leagues. If your child is committed to improving his or her skills and tactical knowledge, and playing more regular competitive football then a ClubFootball team could be for you!
- Our season curriculum is overseen by ClubFootball's Director of Coaching, ex-Liverpool International Academy Head Coach Alex Arnold, and delivered by our team of full-time FA and UEFA qualified coaches who have many years' experience in coaching youth football to children aged from 3 to 18 years old. Every session is designed to improve and challenge each player's tactical, technical, social and psychological skills, as well as encouraging creativity, decision making, hard work and having fun! ClubFootball coaches carefully plan every session to cater for both the needs of a team as well as each individual to ensure that every player is appropriately challenged and gains success at their own level. All ClubFootball coaches deliver coaching sessions using the modern 'Player Centered' approach, meaning players will learn through discovery, will always be engaged (no standing around waiting in lines!) and will be encouraged to make and review their own decisions on the pitch. Our aim is to create not just the all-round player, but the person too!
- Each team will learn aspects of the game most relevant to their age group, so as to maximize their journey through the ClubFootball player pathway. Our younger teams will learn about how to manipulate, protect, share and strike the ball, as well as gain a basic understanding of attacking, defending and creating space during a match. As players get older, they will continue to develop their dribbling skills, learn different ways to pass and receive the ball creatively, attack and defend both individually and with teammates, and get to try out every position on the pitch as part of ClubFootball's player rotation system, which we believe is the best way to develop the complete football player. Our older teams will learn about different formations, how to defend and attack with the offside rule, transition, and ways of confidently keeping possession in all areas of the pitch.
CF representative teams also have the opportunity to travel to tournaments both around China and across Asia, to test their skills and have an exciting trip away with their teammates!
Players born in 2002 and older – please contact our office to arrange a tryout with ClubFootball's U19 team.
