1.表请求允许
句型：Can sb. do sth.? 这时can 意义为“可以”。此时can在用法上不如 may正式，在语气上不如could 客气，委婉。
例如，1.Can you come to my party? 你能来参加我聚会吗？
2.Can I have some water,please? 我可以喝点水吗？
当主语是 you 时，表情求还常用 would you like to do sth.?表达。
例如，Can you go with us?=Would you like to go with us?
2.表示允许时
can /can't 可用在肯定句和否定句中， 表达许可。意义为“可以”/ ”不可以“
例如，1. You can have a rest after the meal. 吃过饭你可以休息休息。
2.You can't play soccer in the hallway. 你不可以在走廊踢球。
3.对他人的请求给予许可（肯定回答）
如，--Mum，can I go out with my friend tonight?
-- Sure,/Of course, you can.(你求人，他同意了，怎么说。)
--Can you heip me with the housework?
--Yes,I'd love(like) to./I'd glad to.(他人求你，怎么回答。)
4.回绝他人的请求时（否定回答）一般不直接说，No,I can't.而是常委玩地说：
a.I'm afraid I can't.
b.I don't think I can.
c. I'd love to,but....
d.I'm sorry I can't.
e.I'm not sure.
如，--Lucy,can you do the dishes?
--Sorry,I can't. I'm doing my homework now.
