第35课 梦之队
1.People called them the Dream Team.人们称他们为“梦之队”。
★call sb. /sth. sth.称某人/某物为……。
2.They had a great influence on people everywhere - not just in the Olympic Games.他们在任何地方都很有影响力——不仅仅是在奥运会上。
★have an influence on =have an effect on对……有(很大)影响。influence/effect前可加big，great，small，good，bad，important等修饰词，但千万谨记an将变成a。
Parents have a great influence on their children.父母对他们的孩子有很大的影响。
3.A dream team is considered to be the greatest team in its field.
梦之队被认为是其领域内的最强大的队伍。
★be considered to被认为是……
★consider用法
①consider作“考虑”解，常用于以下句型：
i.consider doing sth. 考虑做某事
I'm considering buying a new car. 我正在考虑买一辆新车。
ii. consider sth. 考虑某事
You’d better consider my suggestion. 你最好考虑下我的建议。
iii. consider +疑问词(where/what…)+ to do
考虑……
I was considering what to do next.
我在考虑下一步怎么办。
I've never considered how to deal with it. 我从没考虑过怎么处理这个问题。
We are considering how to help them. 我们正在考虑如何帮助他们。
consider + sb/sth + to be+形容词：认为……怎么样
consider sth/sb + as+名词：把…看作……
②consider作“认为”解时，常用于以下句型：
i. consider + sb/sth + to be+形容词：认为……怎么样
consider sth/sb + as+名词：把…看作……
He considers himself (to be) clever.=He considers himself as clever.=He considers that he is clever.他认为自己很聪明。
但当不定式为行为动词时，不能省略，不可用于进行时。这样用时相当于that引导宾语从句。例如：
He is considered to have invented the first computer.他被认为是最早发明计算机的人。
ii. consider+it(形式宾语)+形容词+不定式结构
I consider it wrong for students to smoke.我认为学生抽烟是不对的。
iii. consider + 宾语从句
We consider that the music is well worth listening to. 我们认为这首音乐很值得一听。
③consider 还可以意为“考虑到，顾及，体谅”。
All of you should consider the feelings of others.你们都应该考虑别人的感受。
4.There are many dream teams in the world of sports.在世界体坛，有许多的梦之队。
★There be句型中be的数依据其后名词的数而定。
★in the world of sports.在体育界。
5.For Brazil it might be the men's volleyball or soccer team.
对巴西来说，它可能是男子排球或足球队。
★soccer team足球队。
soccer[ˈsɒkə(r)]名词，足球。
★soccer和football的区别：
①使用地区不同：现在只有美国人还在用Soccer这个词代表足球，英国以及整个国际上的一些官方组织都用Football。
②定义不同：Soccer指的是只能用脚踢的正统的足球，区别于可以用手玩的其他形式的足球。在美国如果说“football“不是指圆圆的足球，而是有点像橄榄球的足球。
③Shaolin Soccer少林足球；
FIFA Soccer 足球；国际足盟大赛；世界杯足球赛
soccer commentator足球评述员；足球评论员。
④play football踢足球。
football match足球赛；足球比赛。
football team足球队。
6.The team won the most gold medals for China in the most recent Olympics.在最近几届奥运会上，这个队伍为中国赢得了最多的金牌。
★in the most recent…在最近……
★recent[ˈriːsnt]形容词，最近的;近来的;新近的。
This is my most recent book.
这是我最新（写）的书。
When was your most recent visit to Shanghai?你最近去上海是什么时候？
★in recent weeks/months/years 最近几周、最近几月、最近几年。
Everything has changed in recent years.最近几年，一切都发生了变化。
7.Time after time, these teams have won gold medals for China.
一届又一届，这些队伍为中国赢得了金牌。
★time after time一次又一次;一而再，再而三;多次，反复，不断地;屡屡，总是。
I told you time after time don't be late for class.我告诉你很多次了，不要上课迟到。
Time after time we have warned him.我们再三警告过他。
★win gold medals for为……赢得金牌。
8..However, there is more to a dream team than winning gold medals.但是，对梦之队来说，不只是赢得金牌。
★more...than的用法归纳
①表示“比……多”“比……更”。如：
It was more expensive than I thought.这比我预料的昂贵多了。
Tim violin is more difficult than the piano.拉小提琴比弹钢琴更为困难。
注：more有时不用于构成比较级，而是本身就是比较级，此时其后可能接可数或不可数名词。如：
His car cost much more money than mine.
他的小汽车所花的钱比我的多得多。
There are many more people than we expected.比我们想象的人要多得多。
②表示“与其……不如”。如：
He is more lucky than clever.
与其说他聪明，不如说他幸运。
It is even more a poem than a picture.与其说它是一幅画，倒不如说它是一首诗。
注：该句型主要用于同一个人或物在两个不同性质或特征等方面的比较(比较级必须 more, 不能用加词尾 -er 的形式)。
9.A dream team has not only the best players and the best coach, but also the best team spirit.一支梦之队不仅有最好的选手和最好的教练，还要有最好的团队精神。
★not only…but also不但……而且。
10.All of the players must work hard and do their best for the team.所有的选手必须努力，为团队尽最大的努力。
★do one's best for…为……尽最大努力。
11.By working together,they perform better,and they never give up.通过共同努力，他们表现的更好，并且他们从不放弃。
★by通过；靠；凭借。其后常跟名词或动名词作宾语。
★give up放弃。
12.That's what makes a dream team!
这就是他们成为梦之队的原因！
★what引导的是一个表语从句。
