This year's provincial games consist of 24 events, including 567 competition items for competitive sports with the participation of 4,903 athletes. There are 162 items for general participants, including 29 competition items and seven performance items, with the participation of more than 4,000 people, making it the largest provincial games in history.
本届省运会，竞技体育组设置24个大项567个小项，4903名运动员参赛；群众比赛共设36个大项，162个小项，其中比赛项目29项，展演项目7项，预计共有4000余名运动员参赛，是历届省运会中规模最大的一届综合性体育盛会。
