I mean myself, and perhaps the Korean people here, not the Korean government.

1. Chinese people are generally more easygoing than Koreans. I think Koreans lack substantive understanding on this issue.

2. Chinese people seem to be very straightforward in their life, but this is not the case when doing business. South Koreans find it difficult to figure out what the Chinese want when doing business.

3. Chinese people are more diversified. Because of this, I like to interact with Chinese people in a non-commercial environment. They are all different and unique, and their feelings when interacting with Koreans are completely different.

4.Chinese people's mind is much more open. When Koreans see something unusual, they usually criticize and deny it. But at least in my experience, Chinese people are more curious and open to new things.

They are all talkative. I found that the common ground between Japanese and Chinese people is that they are more individualistic than Koreans, and each Chinese has different personal values and beliefs.

However, the Japanese tend to hide things, which seems polite but actually somewhat hypocritical, while the Chinese tend to be more open and express themselves in rich and colorful ways. Therefore, in China, even a brief conversation with a stranger at the airport gate can produce a very interesting conversation.

6. Any Korean who has been to more than one city in China will recognize that China is a vast and diversified country. Like other Asian countries, understanding Chinese history is a necessary prerequisite for understanding their national traditions.

Through studying and understanding China's history and rich culture in the past, I am a little worried about China's lost culture and the current domestic situation that has not fully utilized its potential.

7. The Chinese are a proud nation. Sometimes, I feel that neighboring countries like South Korea and Japan feel a little too threatened by themselves.

I believe that if China can put forward proposals to its neighbors to establish a closer East Asian Partnership, so that each country can be placed on a more equal footing, the situation may be very different. Of course, this requires the United States to stay out of the matter.

But we all know that this is almost impossible because of our bad history. Some countries in East Asia, you know which country, have basically lost the opportunity to establish a meaningful alliance among East Asian countries. Yes, I mean Japan.

8. Yes, compared with Japan and South Korea, the Chinese people are late in success, but we all know that they are now older than the rest of us. Urbanization is still developing rapidly. Obviously, China's population is changing.

However, materialistic values and other negative effects of economic growth and urbanization are impacting South Korea and Japan – and China is hardly immune.

I personally feel a little sorry, because China should have more potential than South Korea and Japan in terms of cultural values and original philosophy.

South Korea and Japan have lost almost all of their core Asian values and modes of thinking. I hope that China will once again take them as the root of everything, regain their traditions and inspire East Asian countries.

They say 8 is a lucky number in China, so I'll stop here.

I hope I can learn more about China, especially its history and culture. If time permits, I definitely intend to read more articles about it in the near future. I know that China is a country with a vast territory and magnificent scenery, which is a must see sight in my lifetime.

I like Chinese very much. I think it is a delicate and intelligent language. When I was a child, I learned how to write some simple Chinese, which brought me good memories and effectively exercised my thinking ability, although I have forgotten most of them.

Although Korean culture is greatly influenced by Chinese culture, I don't think I have enough exposure and qualification to talk about them in any way.

Comparatively speaking, there are many similarities between Chinese and Korean cultures.

The temple is one of them. I like its appearance very much. I personally think that the shape of the roof is a great encouragement to diligence and peace of mind. Although I have come into contact with some literary works written by Chinese Americans, I know little about Chinese literature, or even nothing about it.

Unfortunately, in the remaining years of my life, it is difficult for me to fully appreciate Chinese literature in its original background, because I think it is an insurmountable task.

There are many Chinese movies, and I certainly want to watch them on a larger screen with better quality, because every scene is so spectacular.

They have a lot of delicious food, but the food is also quite extreme (not very bad). It can be said that the Chinese cuisine is even more diverse than that of the French, from the giant roast duck to the roast silkworm chrysalis. Personally, I'm a big fan of Sichuan cuisine (probably influenced by the Korean people). Sichuan cuisine has extreme spices and gives people endless aftertaste.

There are too many Chinese people to generalize. China has a population of nearly 1.4 billion, including overseas citizens. You can't put one fifth of the world's population in a single stereotype. That's ridiculous. As a Korean living in Beijing for two years, the following is my view of the Chinese people:

Positive aspects:

Relaxed and happy - Chinese people are easier to get along with than Koreans, which is the biggest difference. They are more joking and less serious in their conversation.

Straightforward - unless there is a language barrier, there is no ambiguity or ambiguity in their meaning. There is no honorific in Chinese as in Korean.

Pragmatism - they don't cry because of spilled milk, nor are they too emotional. When problems arise, they will try to find solutions. If they can't solve it, they will cross the issue and move on. They will not be dragged down by their emotions, which I think will help them make more rational decisions.

Optimism - I noticed that people here are more optimistic and positive. Overall, they seem happier than Koreans. Perhaps there is a bit of innocence that makes people refreshing. They are not as nervous or indifferent as many Koreans, and they are easier to get along with.

Fashion - contrary to the stereotype of most Korean people, today's Chinese young people are very fashionable. Their hairstyles and clothes are more diversified than those of South Korea. People seem to be more open to different styles and interests, and they are more brave to try new things.

Global thinking - if we compare with young people, Chinese people tend to speak better English than most Koreans. They also seem to be more international, and even do more business outside Asia. We should know that the largest trading partner of all countries in the world is generally China.

There is no perfect person, and the personality of different people may be completely different:

Lack of emotional color - Chinese people seem to be too cold at times. They have no strong feelings or views on anything special, so it is difficult to have a deeper dialogue. Because they are pragmatic people, it is difficult to talk with them about art, literature, religion, etc.

"Enough" and "almost" attitude - the Chinese are opposite to the perfectionist Japanese (which is also bad). They sometimes seem to do things just to get things done, which often leads to more problems in the future. On the positive side, people make decisions and implement them quickly.

Lack of empathy - this is limited to the people I meet. They do not seem to care about other people's feelings, although they are not malicious. Community ties or charity activities are very rare. Recently, I noticed that an old man was sent to clean up the garbage in our apartment community. These days, he spent all day cleaning up the garbage in the cold. It seems that no one is willing to clean up the garbage to help this person.

Passive - contrary to the common view of the Korean people, the Chinese are not self willed or aggressive. On the contrary, most people are actually very conservative and passive. Like Japanese and Korean, social interaction may become awkward.

On the whole, I have a very positive impression of the Chinese people. Before I came to China, most of my views on them were negative, because the stereotypes of South Korea and the West were very bad. But after I came here, everything here brightened my eyes.

This is very complicated. I will divide this answer into two parts, history and present, and an overall conclusion.

In almost the entire history of North Korea, up to the kingdom of Silla, North Korea has been attacked hundreds of times by feudal kingdoms such as Sui and Tang Dynasties. Even the Silla Tang alliance was used to deal with other kingdoms of North Korea, and it was soon disposed of after the unification of Silla and Korea. Since then, until the Korean era, the relationship between the Central Plains Dynasty and the Korean Peninsula regime has been unstable.

In the Korean era, North Korea became a tributary country of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (although it still maintained sovereignty), and South Korea regarded China as "big brother". Like most Koreans, my personal view on this point is that we are abandoned and despised by them, so this is a bit negative.

Perhaps the best period of DPRK China relations in history was during the Japanese occupation of Korea. China has generously allowed Korean independence activists to settle in China and provided them with asylum. South Korean activists subsequently established a "former government", which will lay the foundation for the actual government after South Korea's independence. The former site of the provisional government of the Republic of Korea is located at No. 4, Lane 306, Madang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai.

This was also approved by China, although it was a considerable risk because they were also being invaded by Japanese imperialism at that time. If I remember correctly, the last emperor Puyi often praised the courage of the Korean people.

As we all know, after the outbreak of the Korean War, the situation began to deteriorate.

As China becomes more open, trade with South Korea is inevitable. In modern times, the situation has begun to improve slightly. Today, China is still the largest export partner of South Korea, far more than the United States and Japan combined.

To be honest, the overall image of the two countries in the public mind of the other side is not very good due to the misleading negative comments on the Internet and the influence of relevant international events. In general, we fear them politically and militarily, respect their culture and rich history, and rely on them economically. When they look down on us or react violently to our decisions, we feel frustrated.

But as a big country, China is vital to the survival of South Korea.

Both South Korea and North Korea are heavily dependent on China; The DPRK China relationship is regarded as a friendship forged by China's blood. Seoul is highly dependent on China in trade. The ROK is forced to participate in the chip "four party alliance" established by the United States. The ROK also specially sends its foreign minister to China to explain the situation.

After China sternly condemned the Thaad incident, several of the largest brands we expanded in China began to collapse, and then the whole stock market plummeted, with a huge impact. We are still worried that the "old man" in the White House on the other side of the Pacific may cause China's anger again and have a chain effect involving South Korea.

My personal view on this issue is that I am not obsessed with everything about China, but I am obsessed with Chinese culture and people. I think this can show the true "China".
