本来，12强赛首战，中国队与韩国队实力客观上相比，是不占优势的。但只国际足联网站今天的文章，打脸昨天亚足联的灰色论调，对中国队进行了重点介绍。亚足联的文章显然有意对韩国投以热情，对国足投以冷看；然而今天国际足联就又发出一篇文章，博弈意味浓厚；虽然对中国韩国的介绍看上去中立，但是图片使用的是郜林斯曼的比赛照片，下面还有武磊的照片，内容大篇幅对郜林、郑智、高洪波以及球队内部情况，进行了介绍。这无疑是国际足联对中国对充满期待的信号，也等于是间接地支持着、鼓励者弱势的一方，中国国家队。
在足球场上，众所周知，弱势的一方，成为获胜的一方，是时有发生的。这就要看中国队发挥到什么程度，应对得怎么样。
如果说昨天亚足联的官网文章是在向中国队泼冷水，那么几天年国际足联不仅打脸这种行为，而且对中国是报以热烈的期待，这是多好的氛围。

The latter tally he attributes to improved maturity and understanding of the game.
