世界杯南美区预选赛乌拉圭将客场挑战巴拉圭，这场比赛双方实力难分伯仲，乌拉圭很难啃下巴拉圭这块硬骨头，主队巴拉圭几天之前刚刚在客场3比0击败了智利队终结此前的四连败，世界杯预选赛出线的曙光也随之重现。

目前巴拉圭队（21分）排在南美区第七位，距离第四名的升级区只有两分的差距，乌拉圭目前排在第三位，领先巴拉圭3分。巴拉圭坐拥主场之利，很难被击败，他们近十场主场比赛取得4胜4平2负，其中逼平了阿根廷和巴西，击败了厄瓜多尔和智利。

乌拉圭上轮比赛在主场逼平了强大的阿根廷队，取得了宝贵的一分，但是他们近六个客场输掉五场。尽管乌拉圭拥有像苏亚雷斯以及卡瓦尼这样的锋线巨星，攻击力强大，但事实上乌拉圭的客场成绩比刚才提到的更为糟糕，他们已经连续八个客场未能避免失球，总共丢掉18球。

Uruguay will visit the Defensores del Chaco Stadium, concerned about not failing today and will try to win what is expected to be a very rocky fixture against Paraguay, home team that a few days ago was able to beat by 0-3 Chile in their previous game and ends a losing streak of four games and put them starting to be involved in the running for a World Cup qualification spot.

Paraguay (21 points) sit 7th in the table, two points from the automatic qualification spot of 4th, while Uruguay stay 3rd, holds three points over the hosts. The home advantage does make them tough to beat. They have won four, drawn four, and lost two of their last ten home games, including draws against Argentina and Brazil and victories against Ecuador and Chile.

Uruguay obtained a point at home to Argentina in their previous game, but they have lost five of their last six outings. Things get even worse for Uruguay away from home, they haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last eight matches and have conceded a total of 18 goals, although their attack is formed by two magnificent forwards, Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.

Paraguay, like their opponents, aren’t seeing clean sheets too regularly at the moment. They have scored in seven of their last nine home games but have only kept one clean sheet. Combined with Uruguay’s defensive holes I expect a really close game with great expectations to achieve for both sides so that is why I would say this match will bring a Draw.
