Narrator（Peppa Pig介绍）：
I’m Peppa pig.我是佩奇。
This is my little brother, George.这是我的弟弟乔治。
This is Mummy Pig. 这是我的妈妈。
And this is Daddy Pig. 这是我的爸爸。
Narrator: Peppa and George are playing at Granny Pig and Grandpa Pig's house. 佩奇和乔治在猪爷爷和猪奶奶的家里玩。
Peppa Pig： Grandpa! Catch! Catch! 爷爷 接住！
Grandpa Pig： Catch! 哈哈接住啦！
What's this? 这个是什么？[乔治抱着恐龙跑上前，猪爷爷问道]
George： Dine-Saw! Grrrrr! 恐龙
Grandpa Pig： A dinosaur! 一只恐龙
Peppa Pig： Grandpa, what are you doing? 爷爷 你在干什么？
Grandpa Pig： I'm planting these seeds. 我正在播种呢。
Peppa Pig： Seeds? What do seeds do? 种子？种子是干什么的？
Grandpa Pig： Seeds grow into plants. 种子会长出植物来！
I just make a little hole and put the seed in. 我只要挖一个小坑把种子放进去。
Then I cover it with earth and water it. 然后用土盖住 最后浇水
Everything in my garden grows from tiny seeds like these. 我花园里所有的东西都是由这样的小种子发芽长大的。 【tiny [ˈtaɪni] 极小的 微小的】
Peppa Pig： Even the big apple tree? 连那大苹果树也是？
Grandpa Pig： Oh! Yes! 哦 是的！
This tiny seed... will grow into a little apple tree, like this. 这粒小种子会长成一棵小小的苹果树，就像这样。
Peppa Pig and George： Oooh.
Grandpa Pig： And that little apple tree will growing to a big apple tree, like this. 然后这些小数会长高变成一棵大苹果树，就像这样。
[猪爷爷拍拍苹果树，从树上掉下里个苹果砸到猪爷爷头上，猪爷爷拿着苹果咬了一口，把佩奇和乔治逗笑了。]
Ouch! Mmmm ! 哎哟
And inside this apple are more seeds. 你们看苹果里面还有很多这样的种子。
Peppa Pig： To make more apple trees! 可以长出更多的苹果树！
Grandpa Pig： Exactly! 说的不错！
Peppa Pig： Grandpa! Grandpa! 爷爷 爷爷
I want to plant a seed! 我想种下一粒种子！
Grandpa Pig： Would you like to plant a strawberry seed? 你想不想种下一粒草莓种子呀？
Peppa Pig： Yes, please! 是的 我想！
Grandpa Pig： This seed will grow into a lovely strawberry plant. 到时候这粒种子会长出一株可爱的草莓苗。
First, make a little hole.第一步，要先挖个小洞，
Peppa Pig： Then I put the seed in and cover it with earth. 接着我把它放在里面然后用土埋上。
Grandpa Pig： Shall I water it for you? 需要我来帮你浇水吗？
Peppa Pig： No! No! I want to water it. 不要 不要 我自己来浇。
Grandpa Pig： Good! Now we wait for it to grow. 好 现在我们来等它长大。
Narrator: Peppa and George are waiting for the seed to grow. 佩奇和爷爷在等着种子发芽。
Peppa Pig： It's not doing anything! 怎么一点儿变化都没有？
Grandpa Pig： You will have to be patient, Peppa. 你必须要耐心等待，佩奇。
It will take a long time to grow. 它要过很长时间才能发芽。
Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig： Peppa! George! 佩奇 乔治
It's time to go home. 时间到了回家吧。
Peppa Pig： But we're waiting for my strawberry plant to grow! 但是我们在等着我的草莓发芽！
I wanted strawberries for teas. 我还想用草莓来泡茶呢。
Grandpa Pig： Don't worry, Peppa.别担心佩奇
Next time you come, the seed will have grown into a plant. 下次你来的时候，这些种子就会长成一株草莓苗。
Peppa Pig： And we will have strawberries! 到时候我们就有草莓吃啦！
Grandpa Pig： Yes. 是的
Mummy Pig： Come on, Peppa. 来吧佩奇。
Peppa Pig： Bye bye, Grandpa. 爷爷再见了。
Bye bye, strawberry. 再见了我的草莓。
Narrator: Grandpa Pig looks after Peppa's strawberry plant. 猪爷爷帮佩奇照顾她的草莓。
After many days, Grandpa Pig finds a tiny plant growing. 过了一段时间，猪爷爷发现长出了一株小小的植物。
Day by day, the plant grows bigger and bigger. 这株草莓苗一天天地长大。
Then one day, Grandpa Pig finds something very special. 然后有一天，猪爷爷发现了很特别的东西。
Grandpa Pig： Strawberries! 是草莓！
Peppa Pig： Grandpa! We're back! 爷爷 我们来了！
Narrator: Peppa and George have come to play again. 佩奇和乔治又来玩了。
Peppa Pig： Grandpa! Grandpa! Did my plant grow? 爷爷爷爷，我的草莓苗长大了吗？
Grandpa Pig： Yes! Look! 是的 你看
Peppa Pig and George： Oooo! Strawberries! 哦，是草莓！
Thank you, Grandpa! 谢谢你 爷爷！
Peppa Pig： Grandpa, can we plant something else? 爷爷 我们能不能种点别的？
Grandpa Pig： Yes! Now, it's George's turn to choose. 当然了 这次我们就让乔治来选择吧。
Peppa Pig： Yes! You choose, George. 没错！你来选吧，乔治！
Choose... a carrot! 就选择 胡萝卜
Grandpa, I think George wants to grow a carrot. 爷爷，我觉得乔治想种胡萝卜。
Grandpa Pig： George, would you like to grow a carrot? 乔治，你想种胡萝卜吗
George： No! 不要
Grandpa Pig： What would you like to grow? 那么你想要种什么呢？
Narrator: George has thought of something he wants to grow. 乔治想到他想种的东西了。
George： Dine-Saw! 恐龙
Narrator: George wants to grow a dinosaur tree! 乔治想种一棵恐龙树。
Peppa Pig： Silly George! Dinosaurs don't grow on trees. 我说乔治恐龙是不会从树上长出来的。[大家都被逗笑了]
George： Dine-saw. Grrrrr....

1. Plant seeds
Peppa问爷爷，Grandpa, what are you doing？爷爷，你在干嘛啊？爷爷说I’m planting these seeds。我在播种。plant seeds播种
2. Make a hole
I just make a little hole，我先挖一个小洞，and put the seed in，再把种子放进去。
3.Water it
Then I cover it with earth，接着我用泥土把他盖起来，and water it。然后浇水。
你有给家里的植物浇过花吗？浇花就是water the flower.
4.Ouch！
苹果熟透了，从树上掉下来，刚好砸在爷爷头上，爷爷说Ouch！外国人在痛的时候都会说Ouch！哎哟！如果你在削水果的时候，不小心把手削到了，你就可以说Ouch！或者不小心把自己弄得有点痛的时候都可以说Ouch!
5. Exactly！
Peppa说苹果里面的种子可以长出更多的苹果树，爷爷说Exactly！正是这样！这也是非常常用的英语口语。
如果妈妈说了什么让你觉得很同意的话，你就可以说Exactly！正是这样。
比如妈妈说我们应该多看看书，We have to read more books。爸爸在旁边附和的说Exactly！正是这样。
6.Be patient.
You will have to be patient, Peppa. Peppa, 你得耐心点。我们之前看到Peppa和George玩医生和护士的游戏，George是病人，爸爸问Can the patient have a visitor？这个病人能有看望者吗？patient是病人的意思。但其实patient同时有病人的意思和有耐心的两个意思。妈妈是不是经常让你耐心点啊？Be patient。
一下子搞不清楚也没关系，千万不要死记硬背，我们多看几遍动画片或者台词自然就明白了。
