The summer vacation for primary and middle schools will begin on July 14, according to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, and will result in a surge in the tourism sector.
根据广东省教育厅的通知,2019年中小学校从7月14日正式开始放暑假,距离暑假还有不足一个月,暑期旅游市场已经进入到最火爆的报名高峰期。
For 2019, Shanghai tops the list for the ten most popular domestic destinations for summer tourism, following by Beijing and Guangzhou, according to Ctrip, China’s largest online travel agency. Several niche destinations have also attracted interest, including the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea.

An uptick in the number of summer trips booked to Europe has also been registered, thanks to convenient access to visas and flights as a result of Sino-Europe tourism cooperation. Popular European destinations for Chinese tourists include the UK, France, and Switzerland.

The 16th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) kicked off in Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex yesterday (June 24) and will last through to June 27. The fair will embrace nearly 3,000 exhibitors with 7,315 booths, with 1,062 booths to be manned by 650 overseas enterprises.
第16届中国国际中小企业博览会(CISMEF)昨天(6月24日)在中国进出口商品交易会A区开幕。展会将持续到6月27日。本届展会将有近3000家参展商参展，7315个展位，其中1062个展位将由650家海外企业承办。
This year’s fair is focusing on the latest achievements of nearly 1,500 outstanding national SMEs, showcasing professionalism, excellence, distinctiveness, and innovation. The SMEs will enjoy support and investment services, including financing, listing counseling, and corporate roadshow support through the event.
本届博览会聚焦于近1500家优秀中小企业的最新成果，展示了专业、卓越、特色和创新。中小企业能够享受多方面的支持和投资服务，包括资金支持、上市咨询、企业宣传支持等等。

In terms of international cooperation, 38 overseas counties, regions and international organizations are attending, including Bulgaria, Japan, Australia, Mexico, and Greece, while Fiji has become the first Pacific island nation to be showcased at CISMEF. According to officials, 27 consulates in Guangzhou have signed up for the event, and 13 consuls will attend the fair in person.

20 Hungarian students to be immersed in Chinese culture

What’s the best way to experience Cantonese culture? How about practicing martial arts, cooking Cantonese cuisine, learning Chinese calligraphy and exploring tea culture? A team of 20 teenagers from Hungary is taking part in a 10-day program to discover the wonderful traditional culture that can be found in Southern Guangdong.
体验广东文化最好的方式是什么?练武术，做粤菜，写书法以及学习中国茶文化怎么样?来自匈牙利的20名青少年在广州开启一个为期10天的活动——2019匈牙利青少年南粤文化行，发现精彩的南粤传统文化。
They are participating in the 2019 Hungarian Youth Cultural Tour in Southern Guangdong which was kicked off Monday (June 24) at the Guangzhou Tianhe Zen Culture Center. Twenty students and three teachers from the Hungarian-Chinese Bilingual School in Hungary attended the opening and will take part in more activities over the following days.

12-year-old Molnár Benedek speaks fluent Chinese as he has been learning Chinese for 7 years. This is his 2nd visit to Guangdong after a previous visit to Shenzhen. He said he wants to learn more about martial arts and make friends with Chinese counterparts through this tour.
12岁的Molnar Benedek说一口流利的中文。他已经学习中文7年了。这是他第二次来到广东，第一次他访问了深圳。他说，希望通过这次文化之旅学习更多的武术知识，并结交更多的中国朋友。
This event, first held in 2017, is part of a series of international youth communication activitiesorganized by the Guangdong People`s Association For Friendship With Foreign Countries.
"2019匈牙利青少年南粤文化行"是广东省人民对外友好协会国际青少年交流系列活动的一部分，2017年举办首届活动。

开幕式上，广东省人民对外友好协会秘书长周纪军表示，举办本次活动的目的在于在“一带一路“的框架下，进一步推动中国跟匈牙利的合作。友协也把青少年交流作为一个重点，希望能够培养推动世界和平的接班人。今年正值中国建国70周年，也是中国匈牙利建交70周年，这些来自匈中双语学校的优秀学生，能够作为中国和匈牙利友好沟通的一个桥梁。

Wang Zhenglang, director of the Zen Culture Center, hopes that these students can learn about traditional Chinese culture from a young age. According to Wang, the center has received over 3000 foreign visitors from over 60 countries who have experienced Zen culture.
广州市天河区禅武文化中心王正浪主任说，希望通过这次活动，让这些青少年从小时开始了解中国传统文化。禅武中心自创办以来，先后接待来自60多个国家的3000多名学员前来体验禅武文化。
In the following days, in addition to traditional culture, the Hungarian students will also have the opportunity to interact with their counterparts at the Guangzhou Zhixin Middle School and visit some scenic spots in Guangzhou and Shenzhen such as the Dongshan Temple.
接下来几天，匈牙利学生们除了学习传统中国文化外，还将和中国同龄人广州执信中学的学生们进行密切交流及互动，并参观东山寺等广州、深圳的文化场馆及景点。
