The Vykintas Slivka’s pupils are a team in transition, holding in mind that make a good progress is possible playing in their field today, despite of their awful records. They bring hopes and footballers prepared to beat Scotland in this Group F of World Cup Qualifying but the duty is quite hard to believe.
England, two points clear of Slovakia lead the section, with Scotland 4th, three points above Lithuania who sits 5th. If they want to qualify they have to win all the games and that start beating Scotland, side that have good and strong players in every position but they have only won once in four visits to Lithuania, small stadium with great atmosphere.
Scotland drew their last qualifying match 2-2 against England with Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths scoring two free-kicks. Lithuania will put the attack to try to dominate the game but after four defeats in a row I think the road of the improvement it will be quite rocky after all, seeing Scotland with no doubts to be ready and catch three points here.
