It’s actually a legitimate concern. Iirc, they changed the qualification process and timing so that it runs parallel with the NBA season. Meaning our qualification team is basically a bunch of g-league guys because no
org is going to let their NBA all stars go play in an Olympic qualifier in the middle of the season.
I think Jeff van gundy is coaching them.

FIBA windows". It's not that bad for USA, since even D-League stars are superior to 10th to 20th best player on any other country.
