I am glad to share something exciting with you. In order to enrich us students’ life experience, our school is going to hold a sports festival next week. I can promise you that it will be an excellent event, so I sincerely hope you can all join in it. The basketball game, the volleyball game and other ball games will be all included, so you will have a lot of fun. If you feel you are interested, please sign up for it before 3 o’clock pm this Friday.
As you may know, taking part in team sports can benefit us in many ways. First of all, team sports help us work well with others and promote teamwork. We all know that teamwork spirit is a very important skill and will significantly increases our chances of success, so joining in the sports festival cannot be a better way to achieve this goal. It is good exercise and we do need it. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, we have long been stuck on the Internet. We can hardly see each other face to face, let alone playing together. Therefore, this school event can provide us with a great chance to see each other and do exercise together.
Another great part about playing team sports is that it really helps us develop social skills. If we choose to play on a team, it means we are expected to work with others and learn to get along with others. This is also a chance to meet new people and make friends with them.
