Hengyue Hu
胡恒越来自中国。本科毕业于美国纽约视觉艺术学院的插画设计专业。自由职业艺术家和插画师，艺术治疗师受训中。她现在在继续自己艺术领域的创作（书籍创作，布料编织艺术，手工艺术，综合材料等）的同时就读于美国视觉艺术学院的艺术治疗研究生专业。通过自我探索与疗愈的旅途，她发现并坚信艺术的疗愈能量，并希望通过自己的作品传递疗愈之力。
Hengyue Hu is originally from China. Graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a bachelor's degree in illustration design, she is now a freelance artist and illustrator, art therapist in training. Hengyue Hu currently continues her own artist creations (bookmaking, fabric art, craft art, mixed medium etc.) while learning to become an art therapist in the MFA art therapy program at School of Visual Arts. Through her journey of self-exploration and self-healing, she realized and believed in the healing power of art, and hoped to spread the healing power through her artworks.

This Stardust Weaver project's innovation lies in the application of AI technology for emotional guidance, utilizing a pet's identity to stimulate user emotional journaling through postcards. What sets this innovation apart from similar offerings in the industry is the creation of a heartwarming narrative functioning as a metaphor. This gentle narrative guides users towards engaging in AI-generated, personalized journaling activities, providing a unique and comforting approach that encourages users to express their emotions in a supportive and compassionate environment.

My name is Shuyi Liu. I'm an experienced designer specializing in service experience design, with a profound interest in human behavior and social interaction. My educational background includes degrees in communication engineering and design, graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and the Illinois Institute of Technology, striving to seamlessly integrate human well-being with innovative design. My work is deeply rooted in empathy, aiming to address and solve the emotional and practical challenges faced by diverse social groups. I have been actively involved in projects like creating therapeutic board games for urban dwellers and developing journaling apps for pet owners coping with loss. My designs, recognized internationally, have been awarded the Silver MUSE Design Award, Silver NY Product Design Award, and two Gold London Design Awards. These accolades reflect my commitment to enhancing human well-being through design and my continuous endeavor to push the boundaries of what's possible in service experience design.

Jill Modesitt your guide in this workshop, has over 25 years of experience teaching Visual Arts and even more as an explorer of everything creative. Her explorations have led her through a variety of visual arts media as well as many artisan based cafts, but mainly as a Photographer, Jeweler and a Graphic Designer. As a teacher and a mentor, Jill has worked with creatives of all ages. She has collaborated with other professional artists as well as trauma specialists to create avenues for self-exploration and healing. Originally from Colorado, she is currently spending the year teaching Art in Beijing.

Sally a British born artist, who paints by only using her hands. Painting by hand creates an intimacy with Sally and the canvas which gives her greater control of the paint, her technique is to use the canvas as her blending pallet, and doesn’t wash her hand until the painting is complete. Colours are her inspiration and the beautiful shades and tones she can create by using her hands. Sally imagines the blends and tones of the colours and how she’d like the painting to feel before before she starts creating. She love’s to create happy poppin’ art. Sally describes her art as ‘Happy art you can get lost in’ , you can look into the art and each time find a new colour blend, a new image. Sallys likes her art to make you feel invincible that anything is possible. She always creates art whilst singing her little heart out to some pop music, each piece is created with so much love and energy.

Sally has sold across the UK, Thailand and China. She is in three art galleries Thailand, represented by JinShang in Beijing and had two solo and one group exhibition in Beijing and her latest exhibition at the Hilton.

"Xǐshě" is about accepting everything joyfully,
"Xǐ" comes from selflessness, it's about being grateful,
"Shě", originates from selflessness,
it's facing things selflessly,
it's giving sincerely and openly.
Externally, "Xǐshě" brings joy;
Internally, "Xǐshě" brings satisfaction.

软陶艺术育疗师，国际艺术育疗发展学会副会长，中国开发区协会服务贸易专业委员会副主任，万壹会联合发起人，世界级非遗中国木活字印刷术文化大使，中华职业教育非遗文化讲师，中国管理科学研究院工艺美术事业发展中心签约艺术家，正祥艺术育疗工作室创始人，中华修心文化为旨归的艺术育疗系统研究者、践行者。
A polymer clay art therapist. He also holds the position of Vice President at the International Art Education & Therapy Development Academic Association and serves as Vice Director of the China Service Trade Professional Committee. He is a co-founder of the Wan Yi organization. Additionally, he is a world-renowned cultural ambassador for Chinese wooden movable-type printing, as well as a lecturer on intangible cultural heritage in Chinese vocational education. He is also a contracted artist at the Craft Art Development Center of China Academy of Management Science. He founded the ZhengXiang Art Therapy Studio and is a researcher and practitioner of the art therapy system with the aim of promoting Chinese self-cultivation culture.
自2009年研究践行软陶艺术育疗体系，以中华传统文化的精神力量、审美意趣、社会生活为基础，以手工艺术为媒介和方便法，融汇中华文化大道哲学观的精髓，形成以“借物见心，以物养性，神安自气和”为发展纲目的艺术育疗体系。通过艺术实践，实现神安的究竟觉察，从而能安住当下，正用精气神，回归生命之光。
Since 2009, Zhao Baocheng has been engaged in the research and practice of the polymer art therapy system. He bases his work on the spiritual strength, aesthetic interest, and social life of traditional Chinese culture, using handicraft art as a medium and a convenient method. He integrates the essence of the philosophy of Chinese culture, forming an art therapy system with the development objectives of "revealing the mind through all that occurs in life,nurturing character and achieving spiritual peace." Through artistic practice, he helps people achieve the ultimate realization of spiritual peace, enabling them to dwell in the present, properly utilizing vitality and spirit, and returning to the light of life.

一直是艺术圈的游荡者，热爱艺术进而献身艺术。她率先提出人人都是艺术家，在她看来，艺术是一种本能，是一种表达形式，此前做媒体人用文字或语言表达，只是这一次尝试了新的视觉性表达，传递我对自我、世界等的认知。不同媒介的转化，去更多元地认知自我和表达自我。并且，通过艺术创作，她探索自我，并发现艺术的育疗功能，并坚定地投身该行业。
She has always been a wanderer in the art circle, loving art and dedicating herself to it. She was the first to propose that everyone is an artist. In her view, art is an instinct and a form of expression. Previously, as a media person, She used words or language to express herself, but this time She tried new visual expressions to convey the understanding of herself, the world, and so on. The transformation of different media to gain a more diverse understanding and expression of oneself. And through artistic creation, she explores herself and discovers the therapeutic function of art, and is firmly committed to the industry.
届时，在本次展览开幕式期间，学会特别推出艺术育疗工作坊，让更多人参与并进一步探索和了解艺术是如何疗愈的，以及专业的艺术育疗读书会。
At the opening ceremony of this exhibition, the Association will launch a special art therapy workshop to allow more people to participate and further explore and understand how art heals, as well as a professional art therapy reading club.
