This Morning viewers have been left horrified by the suggestion that children as young as eight should be taught about masturbation.
Kate Dawson, a sex educator and porn researcher, told presenters Eamonn and Ruth that youngsters should learn about masturbation at school to help them become more comfortable with their bodies.

Kate told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that starting conversations with young children about their own bodies was perfectly normal.

While another tweeted a sarcastic reply saying: 'How about we teach our children the dangers of knifes, how to cook healthy meals, to be respectful of themselves and others??
