今天我们来看一下Travel和Trip的区别。

Travel means going from one place to another, especially over a long distance. 指从一个地方到另一个地方，尤其是长距离的旅行。

Verb（动词） :

Leo likes to travel,he goes all over the world.

Leo喜欢旅行，他走遍了全世界。

Noun（名词） :

He dislikes air travel. 他不喜欢飞机旅行。

Adjective（形容词） :

There is a travel agency beside the bank. 银行旁边有家旅行社。

Trip

Noun（名词）: act of going to a place for a purpose, business or pleasure for a short period of time and returning. 为了某一目的、生意而去某个地方的行为，通常是短时间来回。

We went on a trip to the beach.我们去海滩旅行了。

Verb（动词）: to stumble or almost fall while walking or running. 走路或跑步时绊倒

He tripped over the cat in the dark. 黑暗中，他绊倒了那只猫。

Tips

名词travel用于谈论一般性的旅行活动，既可用作不可数名词，也可用复数形式， 不能说a travel ，如我们不能说：

I’m planning a travel to England.

但可以说：

I’m planning to travel to England. 我正计划去英国旅行。

I’m planning a trip to England. 我正计划一场去英国的旅行。
