First Babysitter
Emily is ten years old. One day, her next door neighbours, Mr. and Ms. Paulin, were going to a show. They asked if Emily wanted to babysit their son.
Emily loved children. And she loved to have extra money to buy her favourite things. She gladly said. “Yes!”
That day, the little boy wanted to cry when he saw his parents leave. He didn't want to let them go.
Emily said to him. "Do you want to guess what is in my hand?"
The boy looked at Emily curiously. Emily played a magic game for him. Soon, the boy forgot all about his parents leaving.
Then they played games, read books, had snacks, and went to the playground.
When Mr. and Mrs. Paulin came home, the boy said. "I had a great day with the babysitter. I want her to come back again!"
第一个保姆
艾米丽十岁了。一天，她的隔壁邻居，波林先生和波林女士要去看演出。他们问艾米丽是否愿意照看他们的儿子。
爱米丽喜欢孩子。她喜欢有多余的钱去买她最喜欢的东西。她高兴地说。“是的!”
那天，当小男孩看到他的父母离开时，他想哭。他不想让他们走。
爱米丽对他说。“你想猜猜我手里拿的是什么吗?”
男孩好奇地看着爱米丽。艾米丽为他玩了一个魔术游戏。很快，男孩就把父母离开的事忘得一干二净。
然后他们玩游戏，看书，吃零食，去操场。
当波林夫妇回家时，男孩说。“我和保姆度过了美好的一天。我要她再回来!”
