Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962 in the Belgian town of Lokeren. In 1990, after completing his studies at the St. Lucas School of Architecture, Vincent founded his own design studio in Andover.

Vincent Van Duysen has a wide range of designs and many furniture brands have commissioned him to design products. He has designed tiles and pools for Obumex, as well as furniture for B&B Italia and Molteni&C, and Swarovski's chandeliers are also from his hands. But he has developed a strong interest in interior design from the beginning and has been working on the design of a large number of residential projects.

Minimalism is reflected in almost all of his works. Vincent Van Duysen is good at stripping the complex externalities of things and restoring its essence without affecting comfort, but he refuses to be simply tagged. He was deeply sorry for the popularity of minimalism in the design world. He said with emotion: "Those things that should have been in opposition to the popular trend have become more popular."

Vincent Van Duysen is good at using natural lighting and pattern transformation to incorporate natural materials and geometry into his elegant interior design. His design combines tradition with the current environment to bring the integrity of the user experience to the heart of the design. The functionality, durability and comfort of the design are the main components of the work. In architectural design, Vincent Van Duysen does not like architecture, but more respects aesthetics. He once said, “I don’t want to study architecture because I have no interest in the use of mathematics and physics. I want to learn fashion, to me. In fact, that is an art."
