这个题型是基本围绕英语新闻的基础知识，如软新闻和硬新闻的定义，什么是倒金字塔体、该文体有何优势，新闻写作中引语的作用、什么是新闻价值等。整体考察的内容较为基础，且需要学生进行英文作答。
