很多小伙伴在美剧中或者一些电影中看到“Easy does it”总是觉得很奇怪，按照上课教的语法难道不应该是“do it easily”吗？其实“Easy does it”并不是“很容易做到”的意思，而是英语中的常见俚语，表示“慢慢来，不着急”。
A：I want to go back to work.
A：我想回去上班了。
B：Easy does it. The doctor says you need to rest for 2 days.
B：别着急，医生说你还需要再休息两天。
不止“Easy does it.”，在英语中还有很多常用的俚语，有时候紧靠直译是无法理解的，但是在生活中会常常听到。
Don't mention it.没关系，别客气；别提了
用在别人对你表示感谢时，一种客气的回答，和“You’re welcome.”一个意思。
A：Thanks for your help.
A：谢谢你的帮助。
B：Don't mention it."
B：别客气。
也可以用在不想说起一件事时，对其他人说“别提了”。
A：Let's not talk about it.
A：我们来说说这件事。
B：Don't mention it.
B：别提了。
Don't let me down. 别让我失望。
Down在这里不是表示方位“向下”，而是“失望”的意思。
I need your help, don't let me down.
我需要你的帮助，别让我失望啊。
It's not a big deal. 没什么了不起；没什么大不了的。
big deal在这里是“大事、要事”的意思。
A：I forgot to return your umbrella.
A：我忘了还你的雨伞了。
B：It's not a big deal, I already forgot about it.
B：没什么大不了的，我都忘了这回事了。
How come? 怎么回事？怎么会？
How come常用在因为惊讶而询问为什么。
A：I heard that he won't come to work any more.
A：我听说他以后不来上班了。
B：How come? Was he fired or did he quit?
B：怎么回事？他是被开除了还是自己辞职了？
