昨天说到外教Tony被一辆肇事逃逸的车给轧了，幸好没什么大事儿。几个同事很关心他就问后来怎么样了，Tony感动地说:"Take it easy, I don't care a jot, I'm OK! I've jotted down his license number." 看到这儿估计聪明的你已经大致猜出了Tony所表达的意思，其实就是"别紧张，我一点也不在乎，我没事儿！我已经记下了他的车牌号。" 在这句日常的口语中，有一个单词"jot"居然出现了两次，而且含义还不一样~呵呵，大家学英语时可不要因为单词简单就不用心学哟，"jot"有两个含义，一是名词表示数量上很少，二是动词表示匆匆记下某事。这个单词的用法大家一定要记住哈，以后用得着的地方还多着呢，不信的话，请看下面我为大家分别列举的例子哟~

n. (字母的)一点；一点儿；一划；一点儿; 少量；

v. 匆匆记下; 略记；草草记下

【En】To write or mark down quickly or briefly. 快速或简短地写或记下来。The very smallest detail(s) or amount(s). 最小的细节或数量。The least part of something; a little bit. 某物的最小部分；一点点。If you jot something short such as an address somewhere, you write it down so that you will remember it. 如果你草草记下一些东西，比如某个地方的地址，你就把它写下来，这样你就能记住它。If you say that there is not a jot or not one jot of something, you are emphasizing that there is not even a very small amount of it. 如果你说there is not a jot或not one jot of something，意思是强调某物连一小部分都没有。
