北京冬奥会所有新建场馆均满足三星级绿色建筑评价标准，所有竞赛场馆在世界上首次实现100%可再生能源供电，雪上场馆注重水资源保护，冰上场馆聚焦能源回收。

北京冬奥会带动三亿人参与冰雪运动，加大群众性冰雪运动场地建设，推进交通设施、产业发展、公共服务共建共享，带动群众就业增收。
3. 开放
北京冬奥组委同国际奥委会、国际残奥委会、国际冬季单项体育联合会等保持紧密合作，积极促进国际体育、教育、文化等领域的人文交流。
4. 廉洁
场馆持续利用是最大的节俭，北京冬奥对重点领域和关键环节全过程监督，确保廉洁办奥。
