和平安夜（圣诞前夕）一样
元旦前夕被称为New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is the last day of the year,
the day before New Year's Day.
元旦前夜是一年的最后一天，即元旦的前一天
Eve既可以指前夜，又可以指前一天哦
跨年 newyear countdown
“跨年”就是满怀期待地迎接新年的到来
“Most other countries usually hold public new year countdown parties”
countdown是“倒数计时”的意思
“跨年”就是 new year countdown（新年倒数计时）
