How to Achieve Success
Our school did a survey among 1,000 students on the topic of “How to Achieve Success”Here are the results. 47% of the students think catching chances is important， while 86% of the students think making an effort is more important. 53% of the students would like to keep on trying to achieve success.
As for me, making an effort is the most important way to achieve success. Never can I forget the experience in Grade 8.My English teacher asked me to play a part in an English speech competition. Nervousness and fear swept over me. But I realized if I made my effort to do it, I could succeed. From then on, I spent all my free time practicing my pronunciation. I trained myself hard and tried my best to memorize more words and expressions. When the important day finally came, I kept calm and spoke loudly and clearly. The time I finished my speech, I heard a thunder of applause. As you can imagine, how excited I was! Great efforts surely brought me greatsuccess. Our great efforts can always bring out the best in us!
