1.计划、打算或决定做某事
We are going to have a party for Ann tonight.
今晚我们打算为安举办一场聚会。
2.估计或预料某事有可能发生
Look at the black clouds. It's going to rain.
句式
肯定句：主+be going to+动词原形…
Tom is going to learn skating this winter.
汤姆打算这个冬天学习滑冰。
否定句：主+be not going to+动词原形
We are not going to have a picnic this weekend.
这周末我们不打算去野餐。
一般疑问句：Be+主+going to+动词原形…? Yes,主+be./No,主+be not.
Are you going to take piano lessons?
你打算去上钢琴课吗？
Yes,I am.
特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+一般疑问句?
When are you going to start?
你们打算什么时候开始?
注意
1.表示“将有”
There is/are going to be+名词+其他.
There is going to be a sports meeting next week.
下周将会有一场运动会。
2.be going to后接地点时，表示“打算去某处”，接副词时省略to
3.go ，come，leave，arrive用be+doing结构表示将来
