Baby Bird
"Look!" cried Julie. “It's a baby bird!" The other children looked. There, on the ground in front of them, was a tiny bird.
"It must have fallen out of its nest." said Richard, pointing up at a tree nearby.
"What should we do?" asked Flora. "If we just leave it there, a cat might eat it."
"Let's ask Dad what to do." said Richard.
Julie ran to get Dad while the other children watched over the baby bird.
Dad brought his ladder to the tree. He held the ladder while
Julie climbed up and put the baby bird back in the nest. “Julie was the one who found the bird, so she should be the one to put it back." said Dad.
The children and their father were all happy that the baby bird was safely back home.
小鸟宝宝
"看!”朱莉叫道。“是只小鸟!”其他孩子看了看。在他们面前的地上，有一只小鸟。
“它一定是从巢里掉出来的”理查德指着不远处的一棵树说。
“我们该怎么办?”弗洛拉问道。“如果我们把它留在那里，猫可能会吃掉它。”
“我们问问爸爸该怎么办”理查德说。
朱莉跑去找爸爸，而其他孩子在照看小鸟。
爸爸把梯子搬到树边。
他扶着梯子，朱莉爬上去，把小鸟放回鸟巢。“是朱莉发现了那只鸟，所以应该由她把它放回去”爸爸说。
小鸟安全地回家了，孩子们和他们的父亲都很高兴。
