You joke but a black friend of mine that lives in China once told me he believes the reason Lebron hasn’t had a major impact on the Chinese market like Kobe was because of Kobe’s facial features. I did not actually know that story, so here it is for everyone like me.
"Ginobili carried no sense of entitlement; he outworked everyone in practice, especially during scrimmages, when he played as if it were Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Toward the end of an early September 2007 pickup game involving Spurs and visiting free agents, Ginobili dove through three players to retrieve a loose ball and flung it to a teammate. That player scored, and Popovich, watching, stopped the scrimmage even though it wasn’t over.

This is a bold comparison, but Manu is kind of like Hakeem in that his game went beyond his skills and athleticism to some natural feel for the game. You can learn all of Manu's moves have the same level of athleticism and yet that alone will not make you Manu. You can't figure out what Manu is going to do because he doesn't know until he does it.
