1、barmy
eccentric or foolish. Also: balmy古怪或傻的。也用作：balmy
《柯林斯英语词典》的解释是：
If you say that someone or something is barmy, you mean that they are slightly crazy or very foolish.
例句：
He used to say I was barmy, and that really got to me. 他过去经常说我傻，这真的很让我介意。
This policy is absolutely barmy. 这项政策傻透了。
2、take the Mickey
making fun of someone嘲弄他人
《柯林斯英语词典》的解释是：
If you take the mickey out of someone or something, you make fun of them, usually in an unkind way.
例句：
Don't take the Mickey out of someone who's sensitive. It could hurt them. 别和敏感的人开玩笑。那有可能会伤害他们。
He started taking the mickey out of this poor man just because he is bald.

3、idiot box
A television set. This slangy and pejorative expression dates from about 1960.电视机。这种俚语的、含有贬义的表达方式大约从1960年出现。

The original script was written with the idiot box in mind.

4、bog off
Get out of here; go away; get lost. (originally RAF slang)从这里离开；离开；走开。（起初是英国皇家空军的惯用表达）

Listen, I don't want to buy any, so why don't you just bog off and leave me alone! 听着，我什么也不想买，所以你为什么不干脆走开，让我自己待着！
5、kip
Sleep, nap睡觉，打盹儿
例句
He's upstairs kipping. Can he call you back? 他正在楼上睡觉。能让他回给你吗？
不过，在做动词时，需要注意的是，这个词与sleep有一个小小的区别。在《柯林斯英语词典》的解释里，这个主要是指“（通常指不是在自己家或床上）睡觉”：
If you kip somewhere, usually somewhere that is not your own home or bed, you sleep there.
例句：
He moved from one friend's flat to another, first kipping on the floor of Theodore's studio.

6、cheesed off
fed up, disgusted or angry. (*Typically: be ~; get ~; get someone ~.)无法忍受，反感或生气。（常用作：be cheesed off; get cheesed off; get someone cheesed off.)

If you are cheesed off, you are annoyed, bored, or disappointed.
例句：

7、the best of British (luck)
used to wish someone luck, especially when you do not think they have much chance of success or happiness.用作祝愿某人好运，特别是当你认为他们没有太多可能会成功或幸福时。
例句：
You're going to ask her father for money? Best of British, mate! 你要去向她父亲要钱了？祝你好运，老兄！

Cutlery.餐具。别闹了，eatin irons才不是“吃铁”呢！
9、flog a dead horse
also beat a dead horse也用作beat a dead horse.
1) To continue talking about a long forgotten topic.不停说一些早已遗忘的话题
例句
The history teacher lectured us every day about the importance of studying history, until we begged him to stop flogging a dead horse. 历史老师每天上课都要讲学习历史的重要性，直到我们求他停下老调重弹。
2) To attempt to find a solution to a problem which is unsolvable, or
to continue to pursue a cause that has no hope of success.
尝试对一个无法解决的问题找出解决办法。这与“徒劳无用”是异曲同工之妙。

10、Hard cheese！
something that you say to or about someone to whom something bad has happened in order to show that you have no sympathy for them为了表示你对发生了某些不幸遭遇的人没有产生同情，你会说这样的话。
例句：
So he's fed up because he's got to get up early one morning in seven, is he? Well hard cheese! 他之所以那么不满就因为他某天早上不得不在七点起床，是吗？呵呵那真的太不幸了！
