乾元重宝是中国唐朝由官方铸造发行的铜质铸币。有“乾元重宝”和“重轮乾元重宝”两种。因官价规定，面值大于开元通宝，并且有很高的兑换率，又因乾元年间发行，所以称为“乾元重宝”。
制度确立
