预测题目 1：If one of your friends has the opportunity to study in either one of two majors, which one of the following majors you will recommend:
（1）A major that would allow your friend to complete studies and get a degree faster (so that he or she can get a full time job sooner)
（2）A major that would require longer time to study, but can make it more likely to get better employment opportunities and job offers in the future.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
如果你的朋友有机会读两个专业，你会推荐他读哪个专业呢？
（1）其中一个专业可以让他更快地毕业，从而可以更早地去工作；
（2）另一个专业需要他花更长的时间，但是他将来能获得更好的工作机会；

观点A
（1）People start making money earlier and pay less tuition.
（2）People gain practical experience, which cannot be learned in classes.
（3）Although you may have to start from the bottom, such experience benefit you a lot because it makes you tough and keeps your feet on the ground.
观点B
（1）You get a better job with a higher salary, which is important because of the high living cost.
（2）If you graduate at a relatively older age, you will be better equipped both academically and psychologically to handle all the challenges.
（3）Earning your first bucket of gold can be exciting, but if you want to earn more and achieve something bigger, you should probably be patient.
预测题目 2：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: One can learn a lot about another person from the books and the movies that the person likes.
赞同或反对：你能从一个人喜欢看的书和电影，从而了解到这个人。
同意：
The books and movies they like can tell us more than just their favorites.
（1）We usually prefer to choose books and movies which fit our personality while avoid those we dislike.
（2）Such things can reflect our concerns and aspirations.
（3）Honestly, knowing someone requires much more than that. But the books they read and the movies they watch can tell a lot.
反对：
The books and movies that a person likes could tell us nothing more.
（1）There is no correlation between certain books and specific personality traits.
（2）Sometimes people like certain books or movies for practical purposes, such as learning English, which has nothing to do with their personalities or social status.
（3）A person’s favorite book or movie may offer something to talk about in a conversation, but we should not expect to learn anything more. Otherwise, our conclusion or judgement may be incorrect or even biased.
预测题目 3：Do you agree or disagree: Company should pay for employees to get university degree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
赞同或反对：公司是否应该为员工获得大学学位而付费？请使用具体的例子来支持你的观点。
赞同：
（1）It makes employees more competent and effective in their work.
（2）It enhances employees’ loyalty since they would be grateful for such a great opportunity.
（3）Although it costs money and the employer may need to find someone else to fill the vacancy, it benefits the company in the long run.
反对：
（1）It is not practical. Employees need experience, which can only be gained in the real business world.
（2）Getting a college degree would raise the employees’ expectation. They may ask for a higher salary or a more important position. Or even worse, they may quit their job and find a bigger company to get want they want.
（3）For business giant like Microsoft and hi-tech industries such as computers and artificial intelligence, such program may actually work. But for most businesses, it is risky and unwise.
