艺术来源于生活，在充满不确定的后疫情时代，艺术家的情感表达凝聚了一个时代的特性，具有群体共鸣特征。
在2022年我们继续发出“疫见”作品征集，收到许多青年艺术家、新生代设计师的投稿。从他们的作品中，你可以看到时代发展艺术的创新，从中反映了青年们对于疫情的感受更多是精神情绪的思考，“疫情对我们最大的影响,往往不是生理状态,而是精神世界的出走。”
本期推文，分享5位艺术家的作品。他们记录下疫情大流行期间，人们的孤独和思考，都以个性化的方式，传达共性的生活和情绪。
Art comes from life. In 2022, Coantivirus project continued to received artworks form young artists and designers. From their works, we can see that “The biggest impact of pandemic on us is not physically, but mentally.”
This post shares 6 artists’ works which documented the isolation and thinking of people during the pandemic, conveying common life and emotions in their own way.
# Liu Liu
《白之白》，时装设计，羊毛和棉 White on White, Fashion Design, Wool & Cotton
Liu Liu是一名中国设计师，2022年毕业于帕森斯设计学院，获时尚设计与社会艺术硕士学位。作为一名时装设计师，她将时装设计视为一种以各种方式回应真实自我概念的工具。作品涉及到探索情感与服装之间的亲密关系，传统循规蹈矩的着装现象，以中性时尚重新定义着装。希望能以此改变人们的刻板思维。
作品讲述的是后疫情时代的自我探索之旅。Liu Liu不像其他渴望面对面交流的人，相反沉迷于独处带来的安全感。白色是这个项目的主色调，它不仅是她生活的颜色，也代表着平和与宁静。通过探索美好而宁静的环境：回忆、家庭和亲密的衣橱，白色结合丝印贯穿整个设计，传达给观者一种生活之美的柔软和冷静。
Liu Liu is a Chinese designer who graduated from Parsons MFA Fashion Design and Social Art in 2022. As a fashion designer, Liu sees fashion design as a tool to respond in a variety of ways to the notion of authentic self. Her artworks relate to exploring the intimate relationship between emotion and garments and the conformist phenomena of dressing and defining clothing through gender neutral fashion. She hopes her work can change people's stereotypical thinking.
The work is about a self-explore journey in the post-pandemic time. Unlike other people who are eager to be back to face-to-face interaction, Liu Liu is addicted to the sense of security that comes from being alone. White is the main color of the project, not only it is the color of her life, but it also represents peaceful and calm. By exploring the beautiful and peaceful surroundings: memories, family and intimate wardrobe, the white color combined with silk screen printing is used throughout the design to convey the viewer a sense of softness and calmness in the beauty of life.
# 游芷瑜 You Zhiyu

芷瑜是一位多次获奖的插画家和视觉艺术家，出生于中国，常驻纽约。2022年毕业于纽约视觉艺术学院插画专业，将绘画技法与数字绘画相结合，芷瑜从中国传统文化中汲取了营养。她的作品描绘了妇女和少数民族的不平等处境。
这幅作品是基于疫情她宅家时经历与思考的创作。
BFA, Illustration，School of Visual Arts, New York, 2018-2022. Born in China and based in New York, Zhiyu is an award-winning illustrator and visual artist. She draws inspiration came from Chinese traditional culture and combines painting techniques and digital drawing. Her artworks depict the unequal situations of women and minorities.
It is based on her experience and thoughts on staying at home during the pandemic.
# 徐晨薇 Xu Chenwei

青年平面设计师与插画师，现居美国洛杉矶。2020年毕业于纽约视觉艺术学院MFA Design，毕业获得Alumni Society Scholarship Award和The Eva Bruck Award，2019年获得“The One Club 这一夜晒作品”上海区冠军，与全球各地冠军一同入选纽约总决赛。曾多次获得和参加国内及海外地区的奖项和展览。
“疫情期间我在自己房间内隔离的时候创作了这幅作品，我每一天都感觉房间变得越来越小，容不下越来越大的我。我想通过这幅插画来记录这一段时光，同时盼望着疫情可以早日结束。”
Based in Los Angles, Xu is a young graphic designer and illustrator. She graduated from School of Visual Arts, New York and received the Alumni Society Scholarship Award and The Eva Bruck Award in 2020. She was the Champion of “The One Club “Activity in Shanghai, and was selected to join all winners from all over the world to the finals in 2019. She has won and participated in many awards and exhibitions at home and abroad.
“I created this painting when I was locked down in my room during the pandemic. Every day I feel like my room is getting smaller and smaller, as to too small to have me inside. I would like to record this period through illustration, and I am also looking forward to an early end to the pandemic.”

张宇是一名鲁迅美术学院版画系研究生。
当我们被动的进入一种躯体与精神逐渐独立的状态，外界的隔离与生活的去社交化让我们的精神也从喧嚣的世事中解放出来，疏离、冷漠、理性与社会关怀通过新的形式进行精神秩序的重组，当我们试着重新审视自身感受当下，在自我的视角里世界似乎又开始从新的角度教会我们生活更深层的含义。

When we passively enter into a state of gradual physical and mental independence, the isolation from the outside world and the de-socialization of life liberates our spirit from the tumult of the world. Alienation, apathy, reason, and social care rearrange the spiritual order through new forms. When we try to re-examine how we feel about the present, in the perspective of the self, the world seems to start to teach us a new perspective on the deeper meaning of life.

My Linh Mac 是一位多媒体艺术家，优秀的平面设计师，在芝加哥从事艺术教育。她最出名的作品有数码绘画、传统油画、以及当代‘乳汁 / 非笔刷’——Ranbu系列。作为一名技艺娴熟的画家，Mac作品的突出风格是以浓墨重彩的色调描绘细微之处的美。从概念、抽象和具象到当代，Mac画作风格多样，她的数字和视觉设计作品都是商业性的。
Ranbu系列作品耗时一年半，由 70 多件作品组成。已被来自美国和世界各地的私人住宅所收购。这个无刷绘画系列的灵感来自于 SID 的一首日本流行单曲 Ranbu No Merodi” - 狂野之舞的旋律。这组作品反映了 Mac 对色彩的玩味，突破了具有结构、原则、功能的设计世界与原始、混乱和自由的美术世界之间的界限。通过她的多学科实践，Mac 将这个系列创作为一个抽象和当代的系列。该系列被描述为“绘画自己的绘画”和“伪装绘画”——因为每幅丙烯画都是在没有使用画笔在激光切割胶合板上创作的。
My Linh Mac is a multi-media artist, award-winner graphic designer, and art educator based in Chicago. Mac is best known for her digital paintings, traditional oil paintings, and her series of contemporary 'galactic /no-brush' paintings- Ranbu. As an accomplished painter, her works portray beauty in humble places with her signature style of deep and vibrant accent colors. While Mac’s paintings have varied genres, from conceptual, abstract, and figurative to contemporary, her digital and visual design works are commercial.
Ranbu is a year and a half long project that consists of over 70 pieces that have been acquired by many private collections, and residences across the United States and around the world. This non-brush painting series was inspired and named after a Japanese pop single Ranbu No Merodi” - Melody of the Wild Dance by SID. This body of work reflects Mac's playfulness with colors, pushing the boundaries between the world of design with its structures, principles, functionality, and the fine art world of rawness, chaos, and freedom.
With her multidisciplinary practice, Mac created this series as an abstract and contemporary series. The series has been described as ‘paintings that paint themselves and ‘camouflaged painting’- as each acrylic painting was created without the use of paintbrushes on laser-cut plywood, while the final product looks like a Victorian piece of ceramic on uniform square canvases.

以上是My Linh Mac的投稿作品，该系列描绘了她适应迷失在时空中新超现实世界的精神状态。就像我们都必须接受这样一个现实，即我们的生活从疫情开始便不复从前了。
“不管我们喜不喜欢，糟糕的事情偶有发生。这并不关于我们是谁，我们做什么，因为环境决定了我们是谁。不管环境如何，都是关于我们是谁，我们做什么。”
These are My Linh Mac's submissions. The series portrays My Linh Mac’s state of mind adapting to the new surreal world of lost in space and times. Just like how we all have to accept the reality that our lives will never be the same the moment the pandemic started.
“Sometimes terrible circumstances happen whether we like it or now. It’s not about who we are and what we do because circumstances define who are as a person, it’s about who we are and what we do despite the circumstances.”
离我们首次疫见征稿邀请，过去了三年多的时间。在这三年期间，“疫见”线上展览已经征集了超过2200多件艺术作品，分别来自于亚洲、欧洲、美洲、非洲、大洋洲的五十多个国家和地区，艺术作品类型包括了绘画、装置、摄影、视频、诗歌、数字图像等等。

It has been more than three years since our curation team formally proposed the open call. During these three years, The "Coantivirus" online exhibition has collected more than 2000 artworks from more than 50 countries and regions including Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania. The types of artworks include paintings, Installation, photography, video, poetry, digital image, etc.
