The chart indicates the number of four different species of fish between 1982 and 2007.

The line graph shows the numbers of four types of fish, namely Atlantic cod, Yellowfin, Tuna, and Swordfish, between the years 1982 and 2007.
Overall, Tuna and Yellowfin registered higher numbers by the end of the period, whereas, Atlantic cod suffered great losses, and swordfish remained perfectly stable.
The quantity of Tuna showed a gently increasing trend, peaking at 170,000 fish in 2002 before curving downward, slightly decreasing to settle at 150,000 by 2007. At the same time, the number of Yellowfin showed an inverse proportionate trend to that of Tuna; however, between 1992 and 2002 the amount remained absolutely constant before beginning an increase to culminate in about 95,000 Yellowfin by 2007. Likewise, the number of Atlantic cod followed the same increasing trend as Yellowfin from 2002 onwards to bring the number to 100,000 by 2007, though prior to this the figures for Atlantic cod had plummeted from a high of 225,000 fish in 1982.
Swordfish had the lowest numbers of all fish at all times, yet remained stable at about 10,000 fish.
