广东省造光绪元宝库平七钱二银币据传说是为慈禧太后七十寿辰而铸，正面除满汉文外，左右各铸蝙蝠图案，背面正中书“寿”字，四周是双龙戏珠和祥云纹。相传当时只铸造了3万枚，其中库平重一两5千枚，库平七钱二2万5千枚，这枚广东省造光绪元宝库平重七钱二银币前后只铸造两版，本就存世极少，后又历经动荡、毁于战火中不知几何，所以真品是难得一见。

此币正面以珠圈为界，可分为内外两个部分：珠圈以外，上端为“广东省造”四字，下方为“库平七钱二”五字，左右两侧各铸一蝙蝠图案，寓有吉祥的含义；珠圈以内，铸有满、汉文“光绪元宝”四字。背面也以珠圈为界：珠圈外面，铸有双龙图案；珠圈里面，铸有一圆形“寿”字。广东省造双龙寿字币制造精致，楷书文字书法极为端庄大气，间架结构平衡舒展，在龙洋里首屈一指，是家喻户晓的罕见银币珍品，收藏价值和升值空间都值得期待。
