Taking place in a small village in Dali Bai autonomous prefecture (大理白族自治州) of Southwest China's Yunnan province, the hit TV series not only boosts the local tourism, but also presents the charm of some intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) items in Dali. Let's take a look at a few.

凭借轻松的节奏和田园诗般的风景,新播出的电视剧《去有风的地方》捕获了观众的心。许多人表示,在这个充满焦虑、竞争激烈的年代,该剧相当“治愈心灵”。
这部热播电视剧的故事发生在中国西南部云南省大理白族自治州的一个小村庄。这部剧不仅促进了当地的旅游业,还展示了大理一些非物质文化遗产项目的魅力。我们来看看其中的几种。

1. Wood carving 剑川木雕
Jianchuan wood carving, originating from Jianchuan county of Dali in Yunnan, has a history of more than 1,000 years. As a technique of wood carving, it has rich ethnic culture connotations ( connotation /ˌkɒnəˈteɪʃ(ə)n/ n.内涵,含义) and fuses ( fuse /fjuːz/ v.融合,结合) bold and delicate styles together, creating unique charm.
Jianchuan county was named as the hometown of wood carving art in 1996, and Jianchuan wood carving was listed in the third batch (/bætʃ/ n. 一批) of national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2011.

1.剑川木雕
剑川木雕起源于云南大理剑川县,至今已有一千多年的历史。作为木雕的一种技艺,它具有丰富的民族文化内涵,将粗犷细腻的风格融合在一起,创造出独特的魅力。
1996年剑川县被命名为木雕艺术之乡,2011年剑川木雕被列入第三批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
2. Tie-dyeing扎染
Tie-dyeing is a traditional staining ( stain /steɪn/ v.上色,染色;(被)玷污) technique among the folks. The tie-dyeing technique of the Bai ethnic group had grown mature as early as in the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties, and was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. Now the tie-dyeing has fused modern aesthetic (/iːsˈθetɪk/ adj. 审美的,美学的) elements, producing more products such as clothing, bags and tissue boxes, selling at home and abroad.

2.扎染
扎染是民间的一种传统染色工艺。白族扎染技术早在唐(618-907)宋(960-1279)时期就已经成熟,并于2006年被列为国家级非物质文化遗产。
如今,扎染融合了现代美学元素,生产出更多的服装、包袋、纸巾盒等产品,远销国内外。
3. Embroidery of Bai ethnic group白族刺绣
The embroidery is quite popular among the women inhabiting in the Bai ethnic group community, and is widely used in daily necessities such as clothes, headwear, shoes, hats and pillow cases.
The embroidery technique of Bai ethnic group, with mature techniques and abundant colors, was listed as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage in 2009.

3.白族刺绣
刺绣在白族居住区的妇女中很受欢迎,广泛用于衣服、头饰、鞋子、帽子和枕套等日常用品中。
白族刺绣技艺成熟,色彩丰富,2009年被列为省级非物质文化遗产。
4. Flower cake鲜花饼
There are not only crafts shown in the TV drama, but also some local food featuring intangible cultural heritage items wetting the audiences' appetite. Flower cake is no doubt the most symbolic specialty (/ˈspeʃəlti/ n. 专业,专长;特产) of Yunnan province. It is a kind of traditional cake with a history of more than 300 years.

4.鲜花饼
电视剧中不仅有手工制品,还有一些以非物质文化遗产为特色的当地美食也让观众胃口大开。
鲜花饼无疑是云南省最具象征意义的特产。它是一种有300多年历史的传统糕饼。
5. Dairy Fan乳扇
Dairy Fan, or rushan, is a kind of popular snack made of milk and yogurt, shaped like a fan, and mainly produced in Dali of Yunnan province. It appears milky white or milky yellow, and can be eaten raw, dry, fried or toasted, or cooked with other ingredients such as Yunnan ham (n. 火腿).
As a local specialty, it's a must-try food for tourists visiting Yunnan. The making technique of Dairy Fan has been listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage item in 2022.

5.乳扇
乳扇,是一种由牛奶和酸奶制成的流行小吃,形状像扇子,主要产于云南大理。它呈乳白色或乳黄色,可以生吃、干吃、油炸或烤着吃,也可以和云南火腿等其他食材一起煮。
作为当地特产,它是游客来云南必尝的食物。2022年,乳扇制作工艺被列为省级非物质文化遗产。
6. Three tea courses of Bai ethnic group白族三道茶
The three tea courses, a special way of tea serving etiquette (/ˈetɪkət/ n. 礼节,规矩) of the Bai ethnic group in Yunnan province, imply the life philosophy of first bitter, second sweet and finally colorful. Since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it has been an important tradition during special occasions such as weddings, funerals and festivals.
The tea practice was listed within the national intangible cultural heritages in 2014, and was added to UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity along with other traditional tea processing ( process /ˈprɑːses/ v.处理,加工) techniques and their associated social practices in China in 2022.

6.白族三道茶
三道茶是云南白族特有的奉茶礼仪,蕴含着“先苦后甜,最后多彩”的人生哲学。自明朝(1368-1644)以来,它就成为婚礼、葬礼和节日等特殊场合的重要传统。
2014年,三道茶习俗被列入国家非物质文化遗产名录,并于2022年与中国其他传统茶叶加工工艺及其相关做法一起被列入联合国教科文组织人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录。
