有别于其他的世界性体育赛事，世警会既是一场体育比赛，同时也是运动员和家人们的休闲之旅。
Different from other world sports events, the WPFG is both a sports competition and a leisure trip for athletes and their families.
历届世警会，警察和消防员在自费参加比赛之余，也借这个机会，带上家人和亲朋，一起去举办城市，体味当地的风土人情。
In the previous ones, in addition to participating in the competition, the police officers and firefighters always brought their families together to the host cities and enjoyed the trip there.
届时，将有一大批国内外游客来到成都。

很多外地朋友提到成都，第一反应就是“吃”。
如今，“吃货”也成了大家对成都人的最大褒奖，不但能吃，更要会吃，“嘴刁”是成都人的首要标志。
Speaking of Chengdu, the first impression is always “yummy food”.
Chengdu people are called as foodie, which refers that they are not only fond of eating, but also good at finding delicious food.
来成都第一件事，当然是要吃火锅串串，你要问哪家最好吃，1000个成都人就有1000个答案。但一般要排队的店，味道都差不到哪去。
I bet the first thing that you want to taste in Chengdu is Sichuan hot pot. But due to its special pungency and numbness, I strongly suggest that you should eat some other light food before hot pot. As to the choice of good hot pot restaurants, you can go directly to the ones that a lot of people are lined up at the door.
在成都，有一种迷惑行为叫“吃火锅排队”。这一点许多外地朋友一直不能理解。
Actually, there is an interesting thing called as “line up for hot pot” in Chengdu.
有网络统计，一个成都人平均等位的极限时长是3.5个小时。
Statistics show that the average waiting time for a person in Chengdu is 3.5 hours.
商家给排号的客人安排得也很周到：冬天可烤火，夏天有风扇，还有小零食安抚：黄金豆、猫耳朵、话梅干……边吃还要边喊服务员：“妹儿，你再不喊我吃猫耳朵都要胀饱了。”
When you are lining up, hot pot restaurants usually provide good services: warm heating in winter, cool fan in summer and kinds of tasty snacks for guests.

来成都除了吃火锅串串、夫妻肺片、麻婆豆腐，你还要品尝一下成都人放在心尖尖上的美食：
There are also some local special food recommending.
1、折耳根。成都人分两种：吃得来折耳根的和吃不来折耳根的。吃得来的*欲人**罢不能，吃不来的闻到味道就昏厥了。
Fish mint.
It is a kind of plant which tastes a little bit fishy. Most people in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou province are crazy about fish mint.

折耳根在成都有100种吃法：凉拌、炒腊肉、串成串串烫、切成kuokuo拌狼牙土豆……
如果你来成都，一定要试试。
There are many cooking ways for it, such as cold fish mint salad, stir-fried fish mint with sliced smoked pork, boiled in hot pot, etc. It is really worth a try.
2、兔子。成都人喜欢吃兔子，网上有段子：
外地人：“兔兔这么可爱，为什么要ci兔兔 ”
成都人：“老板儿~兔肚兔腰搞紧撒！还有先前喊的10个兔脑壳，还在你们厨房开会麦？”
足以看出成都人对兔子的钟爱。
Rabbits.
For cooking rabbits, whether to stir-fry or roast, the rabbit meat tastes really good. And Chengdu people particularly like eating rabbit heads.

3、各种动物“周边”。成都人喜欢吃各种内脏：肥肠、脑花、黄喉、鸡杂、兔腰、鸭血、猪天堂、猪鼻筋……只有你想不到，没有我们吃不来的。
Animal organs.
Pig’s intestines, pig’s brain, fresh pork aorta, sliced kidneys, duck blood curds...Chengdu people love eating animal organs.

经典川菜夫妻肺片，就是以牛身上的内脏和边角料为原料制作而成：牛头皮、牛心、牛舌、牛肚、牛肉卤制、切片，再用红油浇在上面。
The classic Sichuan cuisine sliced beef and ox tongue in chili sauce is also made from the internal organs of cattle, like bovine scalp, beef heart, beef tongue, beef belly, and then poured with red oil.

4、藏在卡卡角角的小吃。春熙路、建设路、魁星楼、川大南门……成都美食聚集地。
Snacks.
If you want to eat various snacks, Chunxi Road, Jianshe Road, Kuixinglou Street, and the south gate of Sichuan University are all famous food streets.
除了这些，成都还有一些藏在小巷子里、居民楼下的小吃店：曹家巷工人村的陆记蛋烘糕、玉林横街巷的南充锅盔、八二宿舍的干海椒抄手……
Besides, there are some local snack restaurants lied in the residential areas instead of in the big shopping mall. To name a few, baked egg cake in Worker Village of Caojia Lane, crusty pancake (guo kui) in Yulin Bystreet, dry and spicy wonton in Mengzhui Bay...
5、如果你不喜辣，我们也有甜的：
成都街头小吃一霸——糖油果子，出锅后再撒一把白芝麻，香！
从小吃到大的宫廷糕点、闻酥园，吃了那么多年还是吃不腻。

走累了来一碗手搓冰粉，成都人夏天就靠它“续命”……
If you are not a fan of spicy food, you can try the sweet fried rice balls. And Sichuan ice jelly is also a good choice for summer.
2016年，赵雷的一首《成都》，带火了玉林路和小酒馆，“世界那么大，我想去成都的街头走一走。”
1、这里的街道名字很成都：牛王庙、牛市口、骡马市、海椒市、肥猪市街、羊市街……
还有：一心桥、二仙桥、三官堂、驷马桥、五块石、陆家堰、七道堰、八里庄、九眼桥、十里店、百草路、万年场……
In 2016, the song “Chengdu” of Chinese singer Zhao Lei made some Chengdu streets famous. In fact, these streets’ names also reflect the history of Chengdu city, such as Niuwangmiao, Niushikou, Luomashi, etc.
2、地铁报站名，中文：中医大省医院到了。英文：We are arriving at Chengdu University of TCM＆Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital……
3、听得懂四川话的大熊猫，是成都最出名的“特产”，它们在这里以卖萌为生，每年有超过450万人次来成都看它。
Do you like pandas? If so, please go to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Chengdu people cherish these cute pandas most, and more than 4.5 million people come to Chengdu every year to see them.
4、来成都，逛完春熙路太古里，在标志性的“熊猫儿屁股下”打个卡；去宽窄巷子、武侯祠、锦里咔嚓两张“游客照”，躺在椅子上舒服地掏个耳朵，才算得上旅行完整。
In addition, I recommend a landmark with a cute panda butt near Chunxi Road. And Kuan Zhai Alley, Jinli Street, Wuhou Temple are also good places to take photos.

5、成都人对茶情有独钟，据说成都最古老的“茶馆”，是大慈寺禅茶堂，早在一千二百年前的唐代就已经有了。
Drinking tea is a great pleasure for Chengdu people. The teahouse Chanchatang in Daci Temple is reputed as the oldest teahouse in Chengdu, which has been open for 1,200 years since Tang Dynasty.

谁曾想繁华的太古里一墙之隔就是清净的大慈寺，寺内一年四季花开不断，那大门似一道界，门外是喧嚣之声不绝于耳的尘世，门内是香烟缭绕的清幽禅境。
The funny thing is that you can go shopping directly just when you go outside this teahouse.

人民公园的鹤鸣茶馆，已经开了97年，可以同时容纳3000人，很多成都人在这里喝掉了大半生的时光。
The teahouse Heming in the People’s Park is open for 97 years and can accommodate 3,000 people.
成都人喝茶不止为了消磨时光，添茶续水的几个小时里，或许就谈成了几百万的嗨生意。
有些茶馆，还有有川剧变脸吐火、金钱板等四川传统艺术表演，成都悦来茶馆，作为著名班社三庆会的旧址，甚至还可以听到国家级艺术大师的表演，不亏！
Some people drink tea there for leisure and some for business.
You can even watch Sichuan Opera, face changing and other Sichuan traditional art performance in Yuelai Teahouse, which is the site of a famous opera troupe “Sanqinghui”.
6、入选“全球最酷街区”的成都镋钯街，是文艺青年和好吃嘴的好去处，现代与传统结合，文艺又市井。
Chengdu Tangba Street, which has been selected as one of the “50 coolest neighborhoods in the world”, is a good place for young people who love culture and arts.
7、成都有书店3460多家，仅次于北京。方所、言几又、钟书阁、三联韬奋书店……颜值高有内涵，盛夏，如果想寻个凉快安静的去处，书店不失为一个好选择。
在成都，既有大型的著名连锁书店，也有深藏巷尾的特色小店，总有一款适合你。
There are more than 3,460 bookstores in Chengdu, second only to Beijing. Some of them are very beautiful like Fangsuo, Yan Ji You Zhongshuge, Sanlian Taofen Bookstore, etc. While some are characteristic of different themes, such as nostalgia, mechanical, green plant or flower style.

8、去年4月，成都开放了街头的公共空间，面向社会招募街头艺人，让他们“持证上岗”，吉他弹唱、流行演唱、电吉他摇滚……如果你在街上遇到了，不妨停下脚步聆听片刻。
In April 2018, many street performers were recruited in Chengdu and they obtained the license of performing on the street. The public can enjoy live guitar playing, pop singing, rock music and so on.
9、据统计，2017年，成都拥有1855家酒吧。全国排名第三。仅次于上海和北京。
成都酒吧最集中的地方，在九眼桥，这个成都改革开放之后最早自发形成的劳务市场，早已变成了酒吧的天下。
Statistically, there were 1,855 bars in Chengdu in 2017, ranked third in the whole country.
You can pick one bar near Chengdu Jiuyanqiao, where used to be the earliest labor service market formed spontaneously after the reform and opening up in Chengdu. Nowadays, Jiuyanqiao has already become a gathering spot for bars.
10、成都人的夜生活，不仅有酒吧，如果你不喜热闹，推荐你去体验“锦江夜游”，坐在船上体验锦江水悠悠，听着古乐，顺流而下，沿岸还有光影秀。
At night, you can also take a cruise tour along Jinjiang River, to take a glimpse of some Chengdu landmarks and watch the light show.
11、想找点人少景美的地方耍？2600多公里的天府绿道，任你骑行、跑步、划水、玩沙……最重要的是，景美还免费！
Till now, Chengdu has built a 2,600-kilometer greenway for the public to take a walk, ride bikes, run or do other outdoor activities .

12、成都周边的三圣乡、明月村、竹艺村，随便找个院子，点一壶茶就可以发呆一整天，饿了，还能整点农家跑山鸡和有机蔬菜，巴适！
You can also spend a whole day in Sansheng Township, Mingyue Village and Zhuyi Village, not far from downtown but relatively quiet and relaxing. If interested in handicrafts, you can make a pottery bowl or a bamboo weaving product by yourself.
13、看小鹿不一定要去奈良，成都金沙博物馆的梅花鹿，打个地铁就能看到。
In Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, apart from cultural relics, you may see the living sika deer. The data shows that thousands of sika deer were thriving in the ancient Jinsha 3,000 years ago. Till today, they still live there with people in peace.

14、一座城市最具有烟火气的地方，在菜市场。
To be an authentic local, food market is a must to visit.

早上的菜市场，一天中最新鲜的时刻：还滴着露水的菜叶，冒着热气的包子、刚卤好的鸭子、猪耳朵…运气好，还能碰上大爷挑来自家的水蜜桃、嬢嬢刚从树上摘下来的黄角兰……
Most Chengdu people start their days with morning markets, not only bursting with the best and freshest food, but the energy source of the city.
一个有趣的现象：有人试了一下在成都街头蹲那些买菜的人，发现大多数是男人……
It’s said that most of Sichuan men are good at cooking, and here in the market, you can witness it.
如果你时间足够，成都周边的都江堰、青城山也可以安排上，特别提示，有些景点需要注意购买门票和开放时间，合理安排游玩时长。
Finally, if you have enough time, Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Qingcheng Mountain and other famous attractions are also worth visiting. Please pay attention to the ticket information and opening hours.
