Ayra师从Syrio Forel一段时间后，武艺长进不少。Forel教给Arya的所谓“dancing”其精华有点像中国的五禽戏。
Quiet as a shadow

Fierce as a wolverine
而且为了锻炼灵活度，Forel布置给Arya的家庭作业是“抓猫”。
这个家庭作业可不容易：
Catching cats was hard. Her hands were covered with half-healed scratches, and both knees were scabbed over where she had scraped them raw intumbles. At first even the cook’s huge fat kitchen cat had been able to elude her, but Syrio had kept her at it day and night.
虽然最后Forel为了保护Arya而牺牲了，可是在教学过程中，他是位很严厉的老师。
When Arya had run to him with her hands bleeding, Syrio had said,“So slow? Be quicker, girl. Your enemies will give you more than scratches.”
He had dabbed her wounds with Myrish fire, which burned so bad she had had to bite her lip to keep from screaming. Then he sent her out after morecats.
渐渐的，Arya把Red Keep的猫都抓了，除了一只one-eared black devil of a tomcat。
这可是个千年老妖级的猫：
“That’s the real king of this castle right there,” one of the gold cloaks had told Arya. “Older than sin and twice as mean. One time, the king was feasting the queen’s father, and that black bastard hopped up on the table and snatched a roast quail right out of Lord Tywin’s fingers. Robert laughed sohard he like to burst. You stay away from that one, child.”
Arya跟在这只猫后面不知不觉进入了到了一个地窖，就在她找出口的时候，突然又有两个人进入了地窖。
虽然无法听清全部对话，Arya还是听到他们的对话中想对自己父亲不利的信息。
由于地窖很黑，Arya也没发看清是谁，从声音也辨别不出，只知道其中一人有Free Cities的口音，另外一个我觉得作者是故意透露给读者是谁，因为他说到。
“I must have gold, and another fifty birds.”
Birds…………纵观全书，谁最喜欢用birds，我想小伙伴们的心里都非常有数吧。
于是Arya马上就去找Ned，想把听到的内容告诉他。
可是因为Arya听的不全，所以转述的时候也断断续续说不清楚，以至于Ned以为她在开玩笑，还让她别闹。
“Arya, they were mummers,” her father told her. “There must be a dozen troupes in King’s Landing right now, come to make some coin off the tourney crowds. I’m not certain what these two were doing in the castle, but perhaps the king has asked for a show.”
Ned还说这两个有可能是国王请来表演的。
其实Ned的下场自己也有责任，有很多蛛丝马迹透露提醒他已经身处危险之中了，可还是没有引起警觉，太专注于寻找Arryn被杀的真相了。
