some、any表示一些，any也有任何一个的意思
some 表示一些用在肯定句。也可以用在表示预料会得到肯定回答的疑问句中。
There are some apples on the tree.在树上有些苹果。
Can I have some milk, please? 请问我能喝点牛奶吗？
any表示一些、任何的意思，用在否定句或疑问句。
She has not any friends here.她在这儿没有任何朋友。
注意在把肯定句改为否定句时，some要改成any
There are some books on the desk.这儿有些书在桌子上。
There aren't any books on the desk。这儿没有任何书在桌子上。
many、much表示许多
many用于修饰可数名词
There are many birds in the tree.有许多鸟在树上。
How many birds are there in the tree？有多少鸟在树上？
much用于修饰不可数名词
There is too much milk in the glass.杯子里有很多牛奶。
How much it is? 多少钱？
photo、 picture 图片、照片
picture一般指的是手画的、印刷的图画、复印的图片，也有照片的意思。
There is a picture on the wall.在墙上有一张图片。
She is drawing a picture.她正在画一幅图。
This is a picture(photo) of her father.这是一张她父亲的照片。
photo主要指通过相机拍的照片，只当照片用
He is taking a photo.他正在拍照。
