认识掉尾句

掉尾句，英文称为periodic sentence，是把中心意思放在句尾的句子，常用于比较正式的表达。其特点是将句子的次要成分提前，主要成分置后，形成整句的高潮，以取得设置悬念，吸引读者非一口气读完不可的效果。

从结构上看，大多数掉尾句是将较长的状语等修饰成分排列在前，而将较短的主句或使语言主要意思置于句末，往往具有强调主句或使语言生动幽默的作用。
