英语阅读英译英：settle the bill
在非英语语言环境下和在“互联网+英语学习工具”时代“学”英语，今天你训练查英英字典和“说”英语（英语思维）了吗？
老电影《百万英镑》里“穷人”吃完饭后，老板过来问他：But would you plesse settle the bill?
你“读懂”这句英语了吗？不要给我“英译汉”，用汉语“读懂”哟！
下面两个英语能力必须得到训练：
一、查英英字典
Yahoo settle the bill synonym
我们从英英字典里得到，或者复现复习了我们学过的已知的（旧）英语（学以致用）：
foot the bill,pay the check,pay your debts
遂如果这些都是“学过的已知的”英语，直接用它们“理解”setyle the bill即可，不必再“英译汉”“才懂”。
二、训练用完整的英语句子（英语思维）表达自己
1.Okay.I got you.To settle the bill means To foot the bill,or to pay the check,or to pay your debts.
这算是最简单的“英语思维”，也是“英语思维”最基本的“句型”。但比动辄英译汉学英语强多了。
2.Okay.I got you.If you say Would you please settle the bill,you mean or you can also say Would you please foot the bill.Would you please pay the check.Would you please pay your debts.
这个“英语思维”句型应对难一点，但得坚持练啊！
