Dear friends,
山川异域，风月同天。近期以来，大同市人民与全国人民一道，在*党**中央、国务院的坚强领导和国际社会鼎力支持下，采取最为全面、彻底、严格的防控举措，同病毒展开斗争，全市疫情防控工作取得了积极成效。大同市新确诊病例也持续三十多天零增长，已确诊病例也全部治愈出院，全市已全面开始复工复产。
Although hills and rills set us apart, the moon and wind share our kind heart. Under the firm leadership of the Chinese Central Government and with the support of the international community, the people of Datong, together with other parts of China, have taken the most comprehensive, thorough and strict prevention and control measures to fight against COVID-19. There have been no new confirmed cases in Datong for more than 30 consecutive days and all the confirmed cases have been cured and discharged. The resumption of work is taking place across Datong.
疾病无国界，协同筑健康。鉴于近期国际疫情形势严峻复杂，为保护所有大同市民和来同返同中外友人的健康安全，大同市将进一步强化科学防控、精准防控，严防境外疫情输入和扩散，防止疫情反弹。为此，我们向近期赴大同学习、工作、生活、商务等的外籍人士和境外回同老乡特别提示：
While disease respects no national boundaries, health can be protected with concerted efforts. In order to protect the health and safety of all Datong citizens and non-locals who have traveled or returned to Datong including foreign nationals, and considering the severity and complexity of the global COVID-19 outbreak, we will intensify science-based and targeted epidemic prevention and control measures to contain the outbreak and avoid secondary infections. Hence, the following instructions are given to all our foreign friends who intend to come to study, work, reside and do business in Datong and Chinese citizens who have come back to Datong from abroad.
01 参与联防联控
根据国家、山西省以及我市疫情防控统一部署，为严防境外疫情输入，及时控制传染源，阻断疫情传播，大同市进一步严格境外入同人员管控措施。自通告之日起，所有境外入同人员全部在目的县（区）集中隔离点实施集中隔离。对70周岁及以上的老年人、14周岁及以下的未成年人、孕产妇、患有基础性疾病等原因不适宜集中观察的，经严格评估后，可在落实陪护人员防护条件下实行居家隔离。希望大家充分理解并积极配合，共同防范疫情带来的风险，维护好自己及他人的健康安全。
1. JOIN OUR MASS PREVENTION AND CONTROL CAMPAIGN.
Following the prevention and control measures for epidemic situations of Chinese Central Government, Shanxi Provincial Government and Datong Municipal Government, to guard against the importation of the COVID-19 virus caused by its accelerated spread overseas, Datong Municipal Government will take the following measures to further tighten management over people arriving in Datong from overseas. Starting from Zero O’clock, March 20, all people arriving in Datong from overseas should undergo 14-day quarantine at designated facilities in destination county (district) of Datong. After rigorous assessment and screening, people aged 70 and above, minors aged 14 and below, pregnant women and those with underlying conditions who are not suitable for quarantine at designated places may stay at home for observation with the accompany of the accompanying nurse. Everyone is expected to fully understand and cooperate, to jointly prevent the risks from the epidemic, and to protect the health and safety of yourselves and others.
02 加强自我防护
减少外出活动，避免前往人员密集场所，暂停聚会聚餐等群体性活动。保持良好的个人卫生习惯，咳嗽、打喷嚏时务必使用纸巾或肘部捂住口鼻。外出时佩戴防护口罩，废弃口罩规范投放。如您出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，请佩戴防护口罩并及时到大同市定点医疗机构就诊，就诊时请主动如实申报旅行史和接触史。
2. PAY ATTENTION TO SELF-PROTECTION.
Reduce or avoid outdoor activities. Please stay away from crowds, and cancel parties, group dinners and other group activities. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing. Please wear a mask when going out and properly dispose of the used mask. Please wear a mask and seek prompt medical attention at one of the designated medical institutions in Datong if you have symptoms like fever, cough, chest tightness, fatigue, etc. Please truthfully inform the doctor of your travel and contact histories.
03 第一时间上报个人情况
入境前，应事先向所在单位和居住地社区报告来同行程安排及有关信息。对隐瞒境外旅居史的，将依法追究责任。
3.REPORT PERSONAL INFORMATION IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOUR ENTERING IN CHINA.
Before entering in China, please report your schedule in advance to your employers and residential communities in Datong. One who conceals the history of overseas travel or residence will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
