上个星期，小妙君这里来了一位洋哥们找陈炳焜主任看诊。最后开药的时候，麻烦了：这洋哥们哪懂得怎么煎中药啊？小妙君和翻译两边忙活，才终于解释明白了。此事，对小妙君小有触动：咱中医中药现在已经扬名海外，可是这细节上还有许多亟待解决的问题，这个中药煎煮方法就是其一。小妙君翻译出一份精简版的，身边的外国朋友有需要时可以转一份，以便让更多的国际友人有恙时得到咱们中医中药的疗效。
1、There are sorts of appliances for decocting. The best option is earthen or pottery pot. Mental pot is forbidden for medicine decocting.
煎药的工具有好多种，应首选砂锅、陶瓷锅，禁用铜、铁、铝等金属容器。
2、Chinese medicine should be marinated in cool water and put in room temperature for half an hour. Then water can fully infiltrate into medicine and useful ingredients can be fully dissolved in decoction.
中药煎煮前，先用冷水在室温下浸泡20分钟，这样水分可以充分渗透到药材之内，药物的有效成分便能完全溶解在汤液之中。
3、Take out pouch noted with decoced“先煎”. Put the medicine inside into pot first, then decoct about 10-15minutes. If it is“后下” ,put it into the pot , decoct 5minutes with small fire.
药包中注有“先煎”的小包药，应先煎10-15分钟，再加入群药。如果标注的是“后下”，则最后放入锅中，小火再煮5分钟。
4、Pour the medical liquid done into a bowel through a sieve, add water 3cm a bove the medicines’level into pot it with big fire.
将第一次熬好的药液经过药筛倒入碗中，加入没过药面约3cm的水用大火再煮。
5、Generally medicine should be decocted twice.But fortoics and certain other medicines, 3rd time is acceptable. Generally decoction should be poured out of the pot 30minutes after the first boiling. Fill water into pot and pour it out 20minutes later. Mix the two decoctions about 250ml ready for use. Tonics 40minutes for first decocting and 30 for second.
一般药物煎二次为宜。补益药及有效成分不易煎出的药，可煎第三次。通常药物第一次煮沸后30分钟，滤出药液；第二次再加水煮沸后20分钟，滤除药液，将两次药液合并250ml待服。滋补强壮药第一煎40分钟，二煎30分钟。
6、Containers made of pottery, enamel and glass are good to contain decoction, but metal and plastic ones should beavoided.
盛药的器皿应以陶瓷、搪瓷、玻璃器皿为宜，为防止产生不良反应，不宜使用金属及塑料制品。
