高铁是G train？动车是D train？老外不知道你在说什么！
刚刚过完国庆假期的朋友们，外出旅行乘坐的“高铁”、“动车”，用英语该怎么说呢？
High-speed train 高铁；动车
官方翻译：
①高铁是CHSR,全称为China High-speed Railway;
②动车为CRH,全称为China Railway High-speed.
“高铁”和“动车”在外国人眼里都是高速列车
故统称为High-speed train
例句：
The high-speed trains have drastically[ˈdræstɪkl:ɪ] shortened the travelling time within China.
高速列车大幅度地缩短了在中国境内旅行的时间。
动车组列车也可以说：
bullet train，*弹子**头列车
（bullet*弹子**）

火车晚点大家就可以用一个很常见的词：delay
delay意思是"耽搁，延迟"，如果表示延迟多长时间，可以在delay 后面加上for,即delay for.

火车晚点了10分钟。
中途停留可以用：layover / stopover
