美国银行25日发布了一个利用区块链技术处理银行业务新专利。美国银行在过去的两年一直努力加强其区块链领域的知识产权，已经发布了50多项区块链专利，虽然热衷于区块链，美国银行对加密货币依然采取高度规避立场。
BoA reveals new blcokchain patent Targeting cash handling
The financial regulator of Italy, CONSOB, has barred a cryptocurrency-related project, Avacrypto, from operations for the provision of allegedly unauthorized investment services, according to an official statement published Dec. 14. At press time, Avacrypto’s website is not accessible. While there is no established regulation in regards to digital currencies in Italy, the country’s Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance had been working on a decree in the spring that aims to classify the use of crypto in the country.

They believe that the crypto industry, especially in Africa, needs reigning in and needs to be guided in the right direction for the betterment of all.

To achieve this the blockchain body in partnership with Universal Group is seeking an audience with the mayor of Gwangju, Lee Yong-Sub, and other city politicians.

Bitcoin Private core developers plan hard fork to remove covertly premined coins
In response to Coinmetrics’ forensic analysis of Bitcoin Private’s coin supply, which found over 2 million additional BTCP coins that were covertly premined, Bitcoin Private core developers are offering their community members two options moving forward:1) Hard forking the Bitcoin Private network to remove all shielded coins from existence；2) Hard forking the Bitcoin Private network to remove all unmoved coins. While the core developers are waiting for community consensus, they have proceeded to begin coding the first option.

Japan’s GMO Quits Manufacturing and Selling Mining Machines
Japanese internet giant GMO has announced on Tuesday following a board of directors meeting that it will no longer develop, manufacture, and sell cryptocurrency mining machines. The company is posting an extraordinary loss of 24 billion yen (~$218 million) related to these activities for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2018. The company will, however, continue to mine in-house but will relocate its mining center to a region with cleaner and less expensive energy.
