Some people argue that the fittest and strongest individuals and teams can achieve the greatest success in sports. But other people think the success is much related to the mental attitude. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are many factors contributing to great success in sports, among which are strong and fit physical conditions and metal attitudes. Discussion as to which one has a more compact on success aroused many to take part in. As far as I am concerned, both take a role but metal attitudes may be of more significance.

It is true that a perfect physical condition is so important in the success of any sports competition, especially when it needs high physical energy in such items like football, swimming and long distance race. A fittest and strongest individual can provides the team with endless energy and strength. Many sports items requires high standard of physical strength, since it is the promise of stamina and lasting force in the competition. However, sports demands a lot more than that, for example, the technical skills which demands a lot of metal strength is also very essential in deciding the final winner.

A clear mind of team leaders can make the wittiest decision in the key moment, such as which strategies should take to reverse a declining tendency. Besides, team members’ metal attitudes can spur the fighting will until the last moment, which can change into a stronger fighting force in the game. Spiritual lives are so important that it distinguishes human beings from other animals. There are also many characters in the history that utilize his or her metal strength to overcome the seemingly unsolvable difficulties.

In conclusion, a fittest and strongest individual and a positive mental attitude are all important to the success in sports. But in my opinion, metal attitudes are of greater importance since human beings are actually a kind of spiritual beings. We think, decide, and express our emotions through spiritual activities, in reverse, metal attitudes can have an unestimated influence on the events we are experiencing.
