Through sea-highway combined transportation, 130 tons of soybeans imported from Uruguay have arrived safely at the designated supervision venue for imported grain at the Zhengzhou East Railway Station located in the National Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone on October 20th. This is the first time to ship products in containers from South America to an inland city in China. The successful shipment indicates the increasing cooperation between Henan and Uruguay in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture and culture, and is of great significance to the economic cooperation between Henan and South America. Moreover, it indicates that Henan Port has made remarketable achievements in grain import and export in the past five years.

完成南美海运粮食集装箱到中国内陆城市“首秀”
On October 20th, 130 tons of Uruguayan soybeans were successfully shipped to Zhengzhou. A joint ceremony was held by the Henan Provincial People’s Government and the Uruguayan Embassy in China in the National Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone to celebrate this during the "Uruguay Week".
10月20日，在130吨乌拉圭大豆顺利抵郑，完成南美洲海运粮食集装箱到中国内陆城市“首秀”的同时，由河南省人民政府、乌拉圭驻华大使馆共同主办的河南省“乌拉圭周”首舶乌拉圭大豆抵豫仪式在郑州经济开发区举办。
The Henan port for grain import was approved by the former State Quality Inspection Administration on December 12th, 2014. On November 28th, 2015, the Administrative Committee of the National Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone reached an agreement with the Liangyun Group, regarding the port construction, and the Liangyun Group has set up a professional team for the investment and construction of the grain port soon afterwards. On May 9th, 2019, the General Administration of Customs, P.R. China officially appointed Zhengzhou Liangyun Grain Port Development Co., Ltd. to operate the supervision venue for imported grain at the Zhengzhou East Railway Station.
2014年12月12日，河南进境粮食指定口岸获原国家质检总局批复设立。2015年11月28日，郑州经济技术开发区管委会与良运集团签署协议，携手共建河南粮食口岸。随后，良运集团组建专业化团队启动粮食口岸的规划建设及招商运营工作。2019年5月9日，海关总署发布公告，郑州良运粮食口岸发展有限公司 作为 郑州铁路东站进境粮食指定监管场地 运营单 位，正式获得运营资质。
By September 2020, a total of 12,449.15 tons of grain had been imported through Henan Port for the year. This exceeds the annual target. The port had attracted 5 enterprises to settle in, among which, 3 enterprises had completed their industrial and commercial registration, while the other two were going through the registration formalities.
截至2020年9月，河南进境粮食指定口岸本年度累计完成进口粮食12449.15吨，超额完成当年业务目标；招商引进5家企业入驻，其中3家企业已完成工商注册，另外两家正在办理工商注册。
Near 600,000 tons of grain is expected to be imported through Henan Port
河南口岸粮食通关量预计可达60万吨
Henan Port, a designated inland grain port, will gradually reduce dependency of enterprises in the central and western regions on importing grain from costal ports, and facilitate the integration of the inland grain industry into an international grain industry chain, promoting the participation of Zhengzhou and Henan in the "Belt and Road Initiative".
河南进境粮食指定口岸是我国不靠海、不临江、不沿边的内陆粮食口岸，将逐步改变过去中西部地区粮食进口企业依赖沿海口岸进口粮食的状况，助力内陆地区粮食产业无缝衔接国际产业链，加速郑州乃至河南深度融入“一带一路”建设。
Since the end of 2015, five categories of processed and unprocessed grain have been shipped from seven countries on four continents via Zhengzhou-Europe International Block Train or sea-railway combined transportation, etc. through Henan Port. In future, much more high-quality grain will also be imported to Zhengzhou.

下一步，郑州良运公司将在现有业务的基础上，探索新路径、发展新客户、进口新品种，计划从乌拉圭、美国、俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦等国家，进口大豆、亚麻籽、葵花籽、油菜籽等多种粮食品类，为粮食进口企业提供专业、优质的增值服务。
While expanding business, the Liangyun Group plans to build the Grain Port Project Phase II in the National Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone with an investment of 1 billion yuan. With a covered area of 248 mu, the Project has an expected grain handling capacity of more than 300,000 tons, with taxes of 150 million yuan. Liangyun Group will actively explore import grain related bonded processing, futures delivery, electronic trading, cross-border e-commerce and other innovative business models, trying to build up an influential imported grain trade and distribution center both at home and abroad, forming special prices for international agricultural and sideline products of Henan Port. It is committed to building an imported grain futures transaction center based on online and offline trading.
随着业务不断拓展，良运集团有限公司计划投资10亿元在郑州经开区建设粮食口岸项目二期，占地面积248亩，设计进口粮食接卸能力30万吨以上，综合纳税1.5亿元，将探索进口粮食保税加工、期货交割、电子交易、跨境电商等更多创新业态，积极打造国内外知名的进口粮食交易分拨中心，形成国际农副产品的河南口岸价格，在线上线下两个市场的交易基础上，建设河南进境粮食期货交易中心。
