汾酒产自山西杏花村汾酒厂，1993年改制为“山西杏花村汾酒厂股份有限公司”，当年实现总产量2.5万吨。
In 1993, Fen Liquor Factory was restructured into "Shanxi Apricot Village Fen Liquor Factory Co Ltd", with a total production of 25,000 tons.
工艺及风味特点

汾酒采用独特的“固态地缸分离发酵，清蒸二次清”工艺，以本地所产高粱为主要原料，并引古井水为酿造用水。该酒晶莹透明，酒味香醇，入口绵，落口甜，饮后余香不绝。该酒以其色、香、味“三绝”的独特风格名甲天下。度数有65度、60度(老白汾)、55度、53度、38度(汾特佳酿)等多种。
Fen Liquor is made from locally produced sorghum and is fermented in a unique process called "solid ground vat fermentation, steaming and second clearing", and ancient well water as the brewing water. The liquor is crystal clear, fragrant and mellow, with a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet mouthfeel, with a lasting aroma after drinking. The wine is famous for its unique style of colour, aroma and taste. It is available in 65, 60 (Old Bai Fen), 55, 53, 38 degrees (Fente Crianza).

Historical Origin
历史上，汾酒有着四千年左右的悠久历史，1500年前的南北朝时期，汾酒作为宫廷御酒受到北齐武成帝的极力推崇，被载入二十四史，使汾酒一举成名。汾酒早在一千四百多年前，已有"汾清"这个酒名。
Historically, Fen Liquor has a long history of around 4,000 years. 1,500 years ago, during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Fen Liquor was highly esteemed by Emperor Wucheng of the Northern Qi Dynasty as an imperial liquor, and was included in the Twenty-Four Histories, making it famous. The name "Fen Qing" was first used for the liquor more than 1,400 years ago.

汾酒开始使用的商标是“高粱穗”牌商标，这是白酒业早期注册商标之一。1949年后，汾酒厂分别申请注册了“竹叶青”“汾”“杏花村”牌等商标。此后，商标逐步多样化。
